Angela, you are indeed lucky that Eric has the control of his club to manage to putt out.

I have found that Sidney, on occasion, has experienced problems when addressing the hole and has developed somewhat of a nervous twitch, which can be somewhat off putting.

Oh dear. Well fortunately my Eric is still quite the Tiger... Woods that is, as his follow-through is excellent. But I absolutely insist that we only golf together. I have no interest in a threesome or a foursome.

And I suppose his putter has never seen the last great shot on the course......... The one where a man suddenly realizes he is indeed a man and gets on with his life.....
235 in 12. Yup. If that is what it takes to do it, amen.

His putter rewarded, but not needed for the final shot.
I never have either, but I know the story of Bagger Vance. And I rejoice in it.

Let it rip, baby.
And when that shot hits home, and you have to know it shall some day, each and every one of you is going to rejoice with me.
We live for such moments. At least I do.......................

I agree , I've never been one for that. But Sidney has often suggested that I occasionally try a bump and run.

Well, truth be told, sometimes I worry that I set too rigorous a golfing pace for my dear Eric. He is great on the front nine, but by the time we complete the back nine the poor man is so tired that he has to lean upon the ball washer.

That brings back memories, I remember when I was back in the clubhouse, the members used to ask me to get the soil out of their dimples.

Oh, it's been embarassing for quite some time now....When a man loses his grip on reality and then proceeds to pretend he has not.

Fact is.........ain't enough whiskey Jack Daniels ever brewed up to get ME drunk enough. I am so hardened that I barely get drunk anymore.
It just don't take like it used to. A bottle of 101 might put a dent in me, but it really has not the grip on me anymore. It is like, nothing for me to toss one back and sit here and grin. And I suppose that ain't a great bragging right.
But it is fact. I have to get beyond this. I have to.

Good news is..........that last medical I had showed NO signs of my liver failing me. I specifically asked for that to be checked out...100 percent fine.
That is good, and I had a heart scan as well that showed NO blockage of any kind.
Also very good.
So, ya see, what you have here is a strapping young lad of 58yo that is going to run the course as long as the Lord shall allow, and it appears he has cut me a pretty long rope.

I am getting a grip on it, folks. I am getting a grip on it.

And once I do, nothing and nobody is gonna stop me.

Somehow, Angela....
I really do believe you on this one.
We guys all have to wash our balls once in a while.
And it's not the little gurlz that make us do it.

We just need to come clean at times.

A biopsy is more likely to indicate the presence of lesions than general numbers in blood work.

But it is fact. I have to get beyond this. I have to.

We are all hoping for your success.

Me too, kiddo. Me too.

Apperently,k one was not warranted./

Blood test levels were all good. If things were going south, they would raise some alarms. None. Vitals are all good.

Today's installment of Colorado Cute Critters......

Who knew Bambi and Thumper were real! Well now we know they live in Estes Park, the gateway to Rocky Mountain National Park.

My Dear Colleagues,

Having briefly mentioned Bournemouth in my previous communication, I thought that it would be opportune to pay a brief visit to the said place. Indeed to give my commiserations upon their bowel challenged population, and their 2012 unsuccessful bid for City status, lost to Chelmsford.

Whilst there, I heard that my intended, one Muriel Miggins, has returned rosy cheeked from a robust round of golf, where I believe she had a session of Cocked Wrist and Closed Grip in the bunker on the 14th. Then she blew a double bogey into her handkerchief on the 17th which rather took the edge of things. But she made up for it with a Fluffy Lie behind the 19th with the Club Captain.

Dear reader, I have tried to master this game of golf, but cleaning ones balls with an Open Stance is somewhat tricky, especially when it is raining and in a Foursome, with an audience wishing to Play Through. I may persevere though unless I get a Whiff of the Yips.

As always I send you all my best regards and felicitations,

Sidney J. Snodgrass (Retd)

Ugh, not much on TV today, even less online, so the TV won out.

Henceforth I will be discussing my television and my plans to repair it in my new thread entitled "My Samsung UN55D6050TF 55" TV thread". In this thread I will welcome discussion of television repairs and other issues that come up with electronics. It is a thread for people, like me, who like to take apart machines and repair them.
