...happy and safe...

...through a locked cage...

A squirrel in a cage ain't happy, no matter what. As for 'safe', guess we know that wasn't the case. I feel sorry for the squirrel, the human, not so much.

That is extremely sad. Yes. It was probably a raccoon.

I am sorry for the squirrel and sorry that your friend is in such pain.

+1 I couldn't agree more.

I'm stuck on the phone, trying to buy a Samsung tv stand, something is off kilter with Paypal...

Honestly, I have never seen a raccoon hurt a squirrel, opossum, skunk, bird or cat.

I know they could...

I know sometimes they do...

But in my backyard, this is what I see.

I do believe we have found the original rolling pin that has been passed around here.

@ Vic Have you got your TV yet?

Ci, yes I have Monday, the drive took nearly 3 hours each way, on way the back I stopped at My sister in laws, She fed Me a manwich type mixture on a half a bun and gave Me some green tea, I was hot and tired, I only took My cell phone and well so no pics, except for this cropped one here of the TV, the TV is now on the sofa with the face facing the sofa, I took a quilt with Me that I'd folded in half to lay the tv on and I got the TV out of the trunk all By myself, I saw the TV work for Myself there, right under the flight path to LAX, any closer and I could have boarded a plane, though it didn't have a source like hdmi hooked up, but I could see the TV asking for a signal, I'm tired and My left arm is a little sun burned, all I had before leaving was a cheeseburger, fries and coca cola from Jack in the Box, that served Me well, since I knew I'd need the energy coming back, since I'd being driving for almost 6 straight hours, there were 2 or 3 fires near or in the pass, plus 1 I think might have been caused by an accident, of course that section of the i15 is being widened to 6 or 7 lanes each way and that didn't help much either, traffic for miles was crawling along at 10mph at various points and I saw a helicopter make a water drop right on cue, the fire was just about out, but hey a little more never hurts. I also saw the CBS2 Newsvan off the shoulder of the fwy on the nouthbound side of the i15 near Glen Helen Parkway in San Bernardino, the Temp in Inglewood was 81F, Glendora 88F and Victorville by the time I got there at near 7pm was 87F, I stayed at My Sister in laws house in Victorville CA to shoot the breeze a to cool off some, I was tired, cause the sellers location it was a small gated office complex, I had to be buzzed in, which was ok, I had to contact the seller on the phone to do that, but to leave I just had to drive up to the gate and out I went, I had directions from Bing get Me there and back to the i105. This is the only pic that turned out to be any good, why? I'm not sure, but I got the tv home and I never dropped it, but then I backed the car down the driveway carefully in reverse, so that I'd not need to carry the tv very far, but I carried it in, all 48.7 lbs on My own, two guys at the office complex carried it out to My car and slid the tv in to the trunk after I'd extended the quilt and folded down both back seats. I got the power cord, tv and remote with batteries that were inside the remote, the remote works, since I was able to turn the tv off with the remote, I had to aim the remote at the lower right corner to do this.

I could go insane with too much TV info ... :-)

I only watch the news once a day.
The rest of the night is Blue ray movie or Instant video. :)
I`m getting insane what my wife is watching all day in the other room.

I was going to see about doing the work Myself, I first have to see what tool I'll need to get the back off, then get the info on the inverter for Shopjimmy, which I think is also the power board, then they said they'd see what the tv could be paired up with, since the stock strips are out of stock most of the time, they're in stock 33% of the time and that's from people that smash their screens or something, I'm missing two adapter cables, one for composite and the other for component, but those are available.

Composite..

Component(a good amount of Samsungs use this one, and maybe the Composite one too)..

Thanks Admiral, Monday and Mike.

I know people who need the background noise, and also fans to go to sleep, but I too can fall asleep just about anytime, anywhere. That said, tv is a nice companion. I love it.

A warm room and a fan makes sleep easier, I put the large floor fan on high and then I slowly go to sleep, otherwise I wake up sweating.

Turns out I was 20 minutes or so behind Her in traffic on the i15 fwy coming back to the high desert, She was visiting Her daughters, Becky & Jamie, who live together, otherwise if I'd gotten back 20 minutes before I came I might have only seen a nearly empty house, the dogs would be home, but that would be it.

Thanks Angela, I was quite beat last night, I got in just after 10pm, I think 'Leptons' green tea has some caffeine in the bottle(I had two, delicious), since I had trouble falling to sleep, even with a fan blowing cool air at Me. And yep sunburn...

I drove like My Nephew the trucker, almost non-stop for 6 hours, ugh!

I can take the back off with a phillips screw driver, if those adapters are not available, there are composite and component to hdmi converter boxes and I have 4 hdmi ports, 2 are plain hdmi, 1 is marked DVI and the 4th is marked ARC(for a sound bar, needs a special hdmi cable I've read, ARC is Audio Return Connection).

The two adapters only cost $15.48 combined from one seller on ebay, the one that uses the green connector pairs a 2.5mm and a 3.5mm plug together, weird.

And yes I'm still beat, I can still feel the heat in My left elbow...

Well I had an unpleasant time, I washed My hair and and got some shampoo in My left eye, I washed the eye out with water, yeah it's read, in and outside the eye, yeah it stings, though not as bad as when the shampoo was in there, no I don't have any clear eyes around, though I'm at least a bit cooler and such.

Yeah I have shampoo the color of blood, it's for red type hair..

@Vic,

I would recommend getting an appropriate length HDMI cable to go from your cable box to the TV. (Usually 3 ft/1 M... However; if the cable box is a ways away, then I'd get the 6 Ft/2 M cable.) ...and, as money permits, I'd invest in a Sound Bar. The newer LED/LCD TVs have GREAT picture, (Samsung is rated best), but, as my family has experienced, sound from the TV is tinny and leaves much to be desired. A good Sound Bar will give more depth and enjoyment. My parents are using a Visio Sound Bar with their 40" LED/LCD Samsung TV in their bedroom.

Using my extensive electronics knowledge, I've married an Altec Lansing 2.1 Computer Speaker Set with Subwoofer to a Super VHS VCR's audio output to give me EXCELLENT sound in my bedroom. I have a 32" Samsung LED/LCD TV. (I also have a 4 Port A/V Switchbox connecting the sources of the U-Verse cable box, the Panasonic Blu-Ray Player, and my Toshiba DVD Recorder, and the output of the switchbox goes to the input of the VCR. (Kinda hodge pdge, but it all works.)
