Samsung UN55D6050TFXZA 54.6" diag.

50.6"x29.9"x1.2"

That's the size of the TV that is going in the trunk on Sat, it's only 47.6 lbs, I'm hoping to get it in the house by Myself.

I do know it comes with a remote, maybe a power cord, I didn't ask about a stand, I think the guy had it wall mounted, no I'm not going to do that.

But then after doing everything I set out to do today, I felt like I'd been mugged by the weather here, nearby Daggett CA last time it rained almost had a tornado and they had hail, the size of Golf Balls...

And this is the desert, I've lived in the desert since 1988 and I've never seen weather like this, down pours, yes, a tornado and golf ball sized hail, nope..

no..

He was, of course, talking about Vic, not himself, I believe.
A subject I should not get into myself, because I could say a few things that also might be considered as unkind.

I like Vic, he's an alright guy.
But certain things he says and does drive me insane.

Of course, having said that, many feel the same way about me.
So, I'll stay a friend with Vic and hope that he finds a reasonable way out of his current woes.

Best of luck, Victor.

We all say and do little (or big) things that drive each other nuts, that's life. I know of several in the SETIverse who have a problem with my views and comments, I don't mean to offend but I will NEVER be politically correct.

Back to thread, I think I saw a young Bear in the park early this morning but it was gone before I could get my camera. I let the Animal Management people know as there are lots of young children walking there daily to the playground. I hope all turns out well for both species.

Thanks Mark.

You are welcome, Vic.

I have to remind myself at times, that you have hopes and dreams and hobbies the same as I do, but have a limited budget to accomplish them with.

My budget is not limitless either, and there are things I wish I could do with the kitty crunching farm or for the project that I am unable to do as well.
I have been helped on my way by many friends who only wished me to do as much of what I hope to do as possible.

We are not all cast the same lot in life, and mine has been better than many.
Please remind me again should I forget, which I am sorry to say, I easily do in the midst of my daily toils and troubles./

Bugger...looks like I'm too late.

Yes, it seems you've stopped collecting.

(Edit: After reading the rest of the posts, I see that you
said that you would be stopping. I just hadn't seen
it before I posted the original.)

Well there was a maximum I'd set and well it had been reached quicker than 'greased lightning', I was well, amazed, I hadn't seen anything, the people on FB, were mostly tapped out, 1 guy gave $10, the rest wished they could've, post the link here, and then having a mad scramble to find the switch to get the link working again, and then by morning the tide had burst through. If I were to open the link again, I'd have to 1st enlarge the amount, then let her rip. Crowd funding is amazing really, but I think I have enough, all of it will be in My account probably by Tues or Wed, the site said 2-5 days, Mon would be 2, so for one amount the latest would be Thurs, for the other which automatically left a day later, Friedday. I'm hoping to be out of here by 11am, I should have light traffic to contend with, since most of the escape from LA to Vegas has already happened on Friedday(today). My legs and feet finally stopped hurting too. I'm hoping to get to bed tonight sooner than last night, I've got 4 hours of driving ahead of Me, I'm thinking I should bring a couple thin blankets with Me to lay under the TV, I found out the tv has a remote and a power cord, but no stand, well that is no problem, I do have to take a pic of the back and find out what the power inverter looks like, so that I can see what ShopJimmy can see that will work with the tv, since this TV shares led strips with 5 different tvs and there are no new led strips being made by Samsung, though there are others, like for the UN55EH6050F(the EF is a bit newer than the D series TVs), it's worth shot, for about $55(I didn't ask about shipping of course, it's a bit early for that), it should be too bad, this will be the biggest lcd tv/monitor that I've ever opened and worked on too, plus everyone of them is a bit different.

Vic, you raised enough to buy a new tv, I think. Why not just use the funds to buy something new and have it shipped to you?

It's a bit late for that Angela, I'd paid for the TV hours ago. I'll be using cruise control most of the way there and back. Besides it's something to do and I've never been to Inglewood CA either, My Grandpa is buried at a cemetery there, somewhere, no I don't think I feel like finding His resting place this time, He died when I was 9yrs old.

I have it on good authority that that works just as well from the comfort of your recliner, or anywhere else you may be. Wherever, and whenever you call, those loved ones who have passed on will hear you. But some folks gain comfort from visiting the gravesite, so more power to them.

I Know where All HoneyBees have Disappeared to. They are Drinking at My Two Bird Baths,
renamed Bee Bars.

In All News showing Bee Keepers and Their Hives, I've never heard Keepers discuss 'water',
nor seen amongst the Many Hives, any Bird Bath, Bee Bar, or Containers full of Water.

From My Observations, Honey Bees are 'Drinking' All Day Long from Water I Provide.

Ten at a time are lined up around the 'Bar' sipping like mO fOs.

Or are they 'flushing' their systems; throwing up; or Actually Drinking?

I Know their Bee Hinds are 'Throbbing' Away as They 'Drink'.

Many other Insects are 'Quenching' their 'Thirst' and, Cats seem to prefer tap water in
these 'Baths'/'Bars' more so than the water I put in bowls on the front and back porch.

Can Bee Keepers save the Huge Losses of Bee Populations by providing a Little Drinkeee Pooo?

Could 'it' Bee Dat Simple?

Wondering Broheim, Wondering.

Another problem with water collection occurs in agricultural areas where plants are treated with systemic insecticides. Bees collecting water from guttation drops—drops of water that naturally seep from the tips of stems and leaves—can be poisoned. Worse, sublethal doses of pesticide can be carried back to the hive and fed to the developing larvae by way of the nurses. Researchers are currently trying to determine the type and frequency of damage this may cause to honey bee colonies.

Yeah, maybe 'it' 'is' dat Simple.

Provide Bees with water Not Poisoned, before they get to Crops.

Sounds like the local raccoon had a feast. A friend posted this.

Anyone think it might have been something else?

That is extremely sad. Yes. It was probably a raccoon.

I am sorry for the squirrel and sorry that your friend is in such pain.
