The kitties momentarily break their radio silence.

I just wish to let the few remaining friends I have know that I am OK, even if I am not using my posting privileges at present other than this post. The kitties are well, even though aging at 14yo+. I am going to have to deal with some loss of kitty companionship some time in the not too distant future. The eyes are not as bright as they used to be, although when I go to bed at night, they all cuddle around me and lay their paws on me as if I were the last kibble on earth...LOL.

I am dealing with a rather dark bout of depression at present. Brought on by SDD (seasonal depressive disorder, I hate winter) and some of the flak that got delivered to me by PM and other means after my last crash and burn. It has been made quite clear by a few that I am no longer welcome here on the forums.

One in particular, and she knows who she is.

So be it. And thanks a lot. While I take your barbs, just know that I they have not hit home, kid. That does not mean I agree with all of them. 'Nuff said for NOW.

Let me state this clearly'. whilst I can.

K, I am a victim of a certain disease that is not often discussed.
It has been held in bay to date. It is getting worse, and not going to improve,.
The day will come, I am told, when my mind will fail, but my body remains.
This is my fate, kids.........................
Lori does not know this yet, I wish to share a few more weekends with her without this being thrust upon her. It shall be the end for her as well, I fear.

I am fighting for clarity of thought as we speak. Although I have been rather soft spoken in the past, I have chosen to fight this here and now and shall do so until the end of my days.

If I one day go astray and do not return, that is the reason, kids.

It it getting increasingly hard to keep the crunchers going and at the same time maintian any sort of sanity.

One by one, things shall get away from me.
