Interesting. Status page, "Master database queries/second -7,945" Yes a negative number! Might have another 32 bit issue here. |

It's cleared already. (+) 493 seems more reasonable. |

Well, when exactly is "next morning" after Monday evening in Berkeley? [edit] Must be around lunch time there... ;) Aloha, Uli |

Things more or less went okay. Jeff and I got to the colo around 5:30am and were toiling until about 10am. We expected some unexpected snags, and these included: 1. One server entering a reboot cycle due to a rather anxious watchdog process 2. Our (now unused) router down at the PAIX still messing up traffic with old routes. 3. The KVM simply not working (I'm guessing this is a firefox/java/linux compatibility issue) so we had to connect a monitor up to every machine. Meanwhile most things on our end went smoothly. We are still waiting on some lingering firewall issues to get fixed (out of our control) but that won't affect our SETI@home participants. Also there were some problems with routing registries being more picky than the campus IT people predicted, so some parts of the internet will take longer than others to pick up the new routes. Like a day or so. Anyway, the projects are back up, we seem to have been successful, we expect all current problems to get solved, and I'm sleepy. - Matt -- BOINC/SETI@home network/web/science/development person -- "Any idiot can have a good idea. In Berkeley, lunch time (noon, or 12:00 on the 24 hour clock) is 19:00 UTC. Berkeley is -7, or 7 hours earlier than UTC in the summer, and -8, or 8 hours earlier than UTC in the winter. Currently it is 10:56 Berkeley time. :-) |

All looking good here - congratulations. Only small glitch I've seen is that Synergy is showing as disabled, and I haven't been able to connect to report work yet, although the service is shown as running. |

My T8100 has managed to contact the scheduler and report it's work. Edit: and the C2D T5500 managed it ~10 minutes later too, and managed to get through to Seti Beta too. Edit 2: and within minutes my Nexus 7 and i5-3210M have managed it without help. Claggy |

All I'm getting here are "Scheduler request failed: HTTP internal server error" or "Couldn't connect to server" errors. Even tried setting it to No new tasks. Will check again tonight when I get back from Work. EDIT- just got a new one, "HTTP service unavailable" Grant Darwin NT |

All I'm getting here are "Scheduler request failed: HTTP internal server error" or "Couldn't connect to server" errors. All mine had been pure timeouts up until the successful contacts: Tue 18 Aug 2015 19:06:35 BST | SETI@home | sched RPC pending: Requested by user Perhaps the DNS change still needs to reach you, or you need to edit your hosts file, or restart Boinc 7.0.64 Claggy |

My 4 machines worked and I was able to report most of the work....for about 30 minutes. Now they are all giving, 'Tue Aug 18 14:40:48 2015 | SETI@home | Scheduler request failed: Failure when receiving data from the peer' 'Tue Aug 18 14:40:48 2015 | SETI@home | [sched_op] Reason: Scheduler request failed' Almost there... |

Perhaps the DNS change still needs to reach you, or you need to edit your hosts file, or restart Boinc 7.0.64 Just got a new one- "Failure when receiving data from the peer". Rebooted both system & the modem, and checked hosts- entries have previously been commented out. Grant Darwin NT |

My 4 machines worked and I was able to report most of the work....for about 30 minutes. So it looks like a server issue. Will check later. Grant Darwin NT |

My 4 machines worked and I was able to report most of the work....for about 30 minutes. I expect it'll be because of a combination of a very busy scheduler, the DNS change maybe not reaching you, and an oldish client with an older curl version, where it may not recognise the DNS change. Claggy |
