Looks like the Validation & Assimilation issues have been sorted out.
Once the deleters get back up to speed then all will be well once again.

Matt (message 1169564) was basing his estimate on "our id space will max out at 2305843009213693952", which turns out to be 2^61. That's a factor of 8 down on your 50.5 billion years, which is near enough 6.3 billion years.

Maybe he thinks that we'll have a new form of maths which requires three separate sign bits by then?

Or maybe he hit the 1 on the numpad instead of the 4 in a hurry when pulling up calc.exe and doing "2 y 64" and ended up with 2^61 instead?

Perhaps the deleter's will have a chance to catch up during tomorrow's outage

Looks like SSP got stuck at [As of 4 Aug 2015, 11:40:04 UTC] so we don't know status going into the outage.

A couple of requests later I get 55 for the GTX760, But half of them are shorties, and the Nvidia's cache isn't full yet.

I've done three requests for work in the last 15 min. and 9 sec., and still no work, NOT even shorties... :-(

I have now Suspended BOINC to get me through the Outrage, and see what happens, then...

Good luck everyone. :-)

Just checked my cache. I have 9 7.00 MB and a storm of 84 7.07 ati5_nocal. Not a real clue as to why I only get ati5_nocal wu for my GPU.

AP & MB delete backlogs continue to grow. Presently both are very large.
Master Database queries continue to get hammered.

Set Beta: the feeder shows as "up" on the feeder page, but you get a "Feeder not running" tag if you try to update...

Production SETI: I'm getting intermittent problems trying to download WU's: on some computers, they sail right through, and on other computers (I have 8) they get stuck in "retry" hell... The second download server (vader) is down, explaining the problem...
