From my limited understanding of the way things go. That is not a good thing SciManStev. How long to a fix?? I finally bit the bullet and fired up my backup project "Climate Prediction." It downloaded three CPU tasks for almost six (6) days of work. Luckily 2 will clear out in 93 hours. Then 140 hours for the last one to clear out. It was fixed at about 01:00 UTC this morning. Look at my tasks for computer 3755243: anonymous platform tasks were (briefly) given a 64-bit application ID number which didn't match the IDs in the corresponding table, so they couldn't be translated to the text names you usually see. No big deal, they'll crunch as normal. Purely cosmetic. |

ED I had the same thought too, refresh showed no page. I reloaded from bookmark, and all fine now. |

... The Seti graphs are a mess, and the Server Status page is a sea of red, I believe that Grant was referring to http://setistats.haveland.com/ If You are talking about "Cricket" graphs, they are not available after changes in Berkeley University network. |

I hear a strange groaning sound from Berkeley - could it be the splitters spluttering into life? Bob Smith Member of Seti PIPPS (Pluto is a Planet Protest Society) Somewhere in the (un)known Universe? |

Still able to Report completed work; but, NOT getting new work... :-( Exeter, (GTX-760), will run out of work in a couple of hours if I let it continue crunching... Prometheus, (GTX-750 TI SC), will last through today... :-( TimeLord04 Have TARDIS, will travel... Come along K-9! Join Calm Chaos |

yeah, it;ll take time. my 980 has a trickle of a few MBs only (don't do AP) but the Mac Pro newly acquired is patiently waiting for the dust to clear. I just need warmth in here, lol "Living by the wisdom of computer science doesn't sound so bad after all. I hear a strange groaning sound from Berkeley - could it be the splitters spluttering into life? Let's hope so. I thought it got angry with me for FINALLY hitting two million total for BOINC SETI, and was just wanting to keep this particular machine from hitting one million (under 10k away). Is there an ETA on WUs? Multibeam is a shorty storm, though. I got 48 of them all estimated to run 7 minutes 15 seconds on my GPU. |

interestingly I have a smattering of VLARs now on the Mac Pro {allocated to CPUs}. I'm babying it, but Kudos to Urs/Raistmer for the radeon munching away, and the stock CPUs doing their thing. Have enabled 4 of the sixteen threads for now, just to see how hot it gets in here. So Far looks like very ugly computers with a half sucked lozenge look, do pretty good :D "Living by the wisdom of computer science doesn't sound so bad after all. If you want to see it do better just install my Apps. The Radeon will work those MBs faster and the CPU MBs will be twice as fast. I think I've figured that machine out. Someone upgraded the Processors from the 2.93 to the 3.47 Xeons. It can be done, but it's expensive and only worthwhile to someone who values seconds/minutes more than money. Usually Video editing companies would fall into that category. They should have made sure it would work, but I'd watch the CPU temps for a while all the same. |

lol, one step at a time. The magic mouse is growing on me, but this keyboard must be made for midgets or something. So far my win7 dev machine with a 980 is singing it's soothing song. No such comforting sound out of the mac yet, but am sure if I push it it'll have limits. Not all that worried about where they are, just that I can spread Xbranch into more areas, since I believe I have a better grasp of the synthetic-aesthetic, enough to push things a little further anyway. I always thought they should stick a fan under the central opening to blow air up thru it to keep the temps down... But what do I know, lol Zalster |

This case seems to have convenient places to warm hamburgers, though not warm enough yet. "Living by the wisdom of computer science doesn't sound so bad after all. And unlike most advice, it's backed up by proofs." -- Algorithms to live by: The computer science of human decisions. |
