We had plenty earlier, so it's not a crisis yet. I'm keeping an eye on the forecast for Sunday, the next time I'll be at the museum (Vintage Transport Day). The last couple of days, they were saying around 90. This morning, it was down to 84, but by this evening it was back up to 89 again. Damn computer models. Ping! I was honored to know one of them. The fighters not the bird. Brave Men, they did not deserve to be treated badly after WWII ended, they were/are heroes. Still downing a 262 Jet with a piston powered P51 is a good trick, it's a good thing there weren't many in the air at the time or that they hadn't been brought out 6 months earlier, also it's important to note things would have been worse for the B17's if the 262's had been equipped with dive brakes, since that would have slowed the 262's down momentarily for accurate cannon fire against the slow bombers, that was what someone noted after the war who was testing the Jets I read.
