Remember, I serve as lay Chaplain for 3 Veterans Service Organizations. Many of our members are of WWII/Korea/Viet Nam age, and showing it. Plus the younger folks coming back with TBI, PTS, and missing parts. Sometimes it's just easier to ask "Lord, you know better than I what all these folks need. Please take good care of them, and their families." And sometimes, I make specific requests. It always feels like I get an acknowledgement, that my prayers are heard. The biggest problem is that we have no clue what caused the infection and why the first cure of antibiotics didn`t work as it should. So they had to try something new.
