Just finished watching "Heredity". The movie was fifty shades of weird. I did not expect that ending. |

I agree, Admiral. I also think they should have done more with the dollhouse theme. I felt like there was more potential with that, or maybe I missed something. The mind is a weird and mysterious place |

Spoiler Alert! I think there was two things going on with the miniature sets. One was her job and the second was to give us some information we might have missed. At first I thought Charlie was a bottle baby the grandmother fed. Then the miniature set suggested she was breast fed. The tree house was a red flag. The first time I saw the red glow in the skylight I thought something evil was going on inside. It was also a foreshadowing of the attic ware a dark deed was done. For both you used a ladder and trap door. Then they pulled a page from The Exorcist 3. Decapitating bodies and women on the ceiling. I think that is enough now your turn for thought. |

You had an eye for detail better than I, Admiral. I just felt like they spent so much time with the dollhouse scenes, I was expecting a bigger tie-in or twist to bring it all together in the end. The mind is a weird and mysterious place |

Finally watched M. Night Shyamalan's The Happening. It was better than I thought it would be. :-) ~Sue~ |

I was disappointed, but I should watch it again. It may grow on me the way The Village did. I was disappointed with The Village, too, but after watching it again I started to appreciate it more. The mind is a weird and mysterious place |

Just pulled "Star Trek: First Contact" off the shelf, and am on my way to the living room for some escapist entertainment. :~) The mind is a weird and mysterious place |

I watched Ant Man last night on one of the cable channels. I liked it. Now I want to see Ant Man and The Wasp, which just opened in theaters and won't be available for me to watch until it comes to cable, or one of the streaming services. (Because I never go see movies in theaters.) ~Sue~ |

I watched "American Animals" yesterday afternoon. It's about some college kids who try to steal some rare books from their college library. It's a good movie until a scene in it's 3rd quarter. Anyone who has watched it or will watch it, understands what I mean. The mind is a weird and mysterious place |

Anyone who has watched it or will watch it, understands what I mean. I know that feeling. It's like watching "The Boy". There's this big thing about this 3 foot tall doll. You expect something is happening or going to happen with it and nothing does. Because close to the end you learn that the boy is real and the doll is just a doll. |

I watched Terminator Genisys yesterday. I'm pretty sure I'd seen it before. Isn't there a Terminator movie that ends with someone (Arnold?) locking Kyle and Sarah in a bunker where they can survive judgement day? I'm also watching season two of The Handmaid's Tale. ~Sue~ |

The third movie. T3 is what I call it. Arnold stops the female terminator at the entrance to the bunker by blowing both of them up. |
