Broken Blade

Subtitled in English, the credits say English Vocals, but so far that must be in development.

Sneaky Pete, another Amazon exclusive.

It seems, lately, that I have to watch about three episodes before I
get "hooked" on a show. I nearly quit Sneaky Pete after the first
episode.

Also, now that I have "reattached the cable" (satellite), I find myself
watching too much "TV" and not enough streaming shows. In my
mind that's a bad thing. The streaming shows are usually better.

@ Suzie-Q
If you look at it in a certain way. Satellite tv is a streaming service. You have to upload through your satellite box your selection to view. Then it downstreams your viewing selection.

This movie suffered from too many storylines trying to be told in two hours. It's not that what was being told wasn't interesting; it's just the movie didn't have time to develop everything and tie it all together in a satisfying way for me.

Just watched Far from Heaven. I saw the movie in the theatre when it first came out, and was impressed with it. It explores race relations and homosexuality in the 1950's. Well done. I recommend it. Julianne Moore is brilliant, as usual.

I read the main spillway can handle water flows up to 250,000cfs, the rate is set at 100,000cfs(cubic feet second).

LA Times wrote:
Residents of Oroville and nearby towns were ordered to immediately evacuate on Sunday afternoon after a “hazardous situation” developed involving an emergency spillway at the Oroville Dam.

The National Weather Service said the auxiliary spillway at the Oroville Dam was expected to fail by 5:45 p.m., which could send an “uncontrolled release of flood waters from Lake Oroville.”

Those in Oroville were asked to flee northward toward Chico. In Yuba County, those in the valley areas were urged to take routes to the east, south, or west.

“This is not a Drill. This is not a Drill. Repeat this is not a drill,” the National Weather Service said. Authorities urged residents to contact neighbors and family members and reach out to the elderly and assist them in evacuating.
