Angela's Ashes. Based on Frank McCourts autobiography, decides a poor Irish family in Brooklyn in 1935 to move back to the mother's hometown of Limerick in Ireland in the hope of a better life. The reality turns out to be the opposite. Both funny and tragic. |

Vertigo. Hitchcock movie on TV with Jimmy Stewart and Kim Nowak. And no ads! Boy are we lucky. |

Just watched The Savages, starring Philip Seymour Hoffman and Laura Linney, two actors I really like. It's a movie about taking care of people. Not a great film, but worthwhile if you like those actors or are in a care-provider situation. Philip Seymour Hoffman. What an incredibly talented actor. I was amazed by his performance in Capote. If you haven't seen it yet, I highly recommend that you do. ~Sue~ |

Philip Seymour Hoffman. What an incredibly talented actor. I was amazed by Yep, I agree, and I saw it a couple times. He did stage work, too, and I would have liked to have seen him in Death of a Salesman. The mind is a weird and mysterious place |

The Walking Dead reruns. Building up to the new season which starts Sunday night. Was too tired to stay up to watch the season premier. Today, so far, I've watched enough to see two characters "Lucilled" to death! Two!! Oh my. I'll watch the rest this evening. ~Sue~ |

I just watched Endless Night, an Agatha Christie story, and I'm just puzzled by the ending. I love supernatural stuff, but this film was really "out there". The mind is a weird and mysterious place |
