So i have an old T61 which my mother uses with Quadro NVS140m card...working OS is Win7, soon to be Win10...

I know that it has only 128MB of dedicated RAM on a NVS140m - which is not enough 4 SETi@home...but the system can allocate another 512MB of RAM 4 the card...

my question:
1. is there a script to allocate more RAM in BOINC?
something like app_config.xml with line <gpu_ram_used_mb>?
2. is there a script to allocate more RAM in Win7?

The Quadro NVS140m is a GPU with either 128MB or 256MB of memory, though many notebook vendors released just the 128MB version. It can use up to 512MB shared memory, taken from the main memory.

BOINC however will only detect and use the actual memory on the GPU, not any additional you add through shared memory or the BIOS.
