@ Igogo.

We had a little bit of concern about the BOINC Monitor gadget here last month - it may have been an old version.

Strange Memory Anomaly Caused by BOINC Monitor Gadget

The concerns were high (and increasing) memory usage, and anti-virus warnings during installation. Have you been able to address those issues in this release (or indeed previous releases)?

Yes Igogo i too have had problems with downloading the newer versions . It's not your gadjet that seems to cause the problem it's the website as it downloads a lot of spyware and ad aware crap onto the system .

In fact it's so bad i've had my browser hi-jacked both the EI and Chrome

I had to uninstall it and all the crap and i'm now using the older version you sent me some time ago ver 9.07

Thanks Igogo i'll give it a try later bit late tonight to try if something stuffs up i'm not in the mood to fix it but i will try again tomorrow and let you know if it worked .

didn't they discontinue the sidebar gadgets since there was a gigantic security hole in the sidebar system??
