Here's a quote from one American that has worked it out.

“The whole world is laughing at us right now.”

“All politicians lie,” she wrote on Instagram. “All. Even our most beloved and esteemed.”

“Wake up people - this is not a reality show. I appreciate his charm and entertainment value but he is not qualified to be a head of state! Facts! Vote Clinton or we are all f**ked.”

Just saw Trump's speech in Florida.
After he finished and said "God bless America" they played the song "You can't always get what you want" by Rolling Stones.
I wonder what the meaning of that is:)

Uh huh. Calling themselves "The Independent" and base their opinions on Madonna.
Now I'm starting to see where you are comming from.

For myself, I could totaly do without celebrity opinion. But that's just me. Others seem to thrive on it.

Ignore who she is, but accept that she does travel outside the US a lot. Even if she just catches headlines and sound bites she will have seen the impression this election is having on World opinion.

A lot of countries looked up to the US thinking that having thrown off the yoke of a Monarchy and written a Constitution that many envied. They are now thinking is it all that good.

And as was pointed out to me yesterday in conversation with a friend, have a look round Europe and see which countries have been the most stable and non-aggressive over the last 100 years or more. They are not the countries with elected political Presidents.

Oh, think how much the economy would improve if they sold claymore mines to the general public.

I asked a coworker of mine, if there was a pistol, that shot nuclear rounds, should the public be allowed to have them. His answer was absolutely, as that is what our second amendment guaranteed. That seems a wee bit excessive to me.

Agree. Damnably sad that the losers will also be our grandchildren.

A win by Hiliary will not affect me directly. You've heard me refer to myself as a Rational Anarchist. I believe there should be as few laws as possible. I further believe that if a law does not make rational sense to me, I ignore it. I will continue to ignore laws that violate the Rights guaranteed by the Constitution to ALL US Citizens.

Especially laws passed that infringe or restrict the 1st and 2nd Amendments.

There are no GOOD Lawyers, AND what jail are they going to put 100 million of us in?

I don't know why people say this sort of thing; it just sounds so hateful. As I've said before, my dad was a lawyer, and I think he was a good one, and I've known lots of others that were decent people, too.

How much are Trump businesses going downhill, amid reports of low footfall and declining sales, I see that over the border, A Trump Tower Goes Bust in Canada

He doesn't own it nor was he the developer, it was financed by one of his Russian friends, but does bear the Trump brand.

The condo owners in the same building are suing Trump because they say his name was all over it and they were misled into thinking it was a Trump property.

Haven't we heard this story before?

Sorry, Gordon. No dispersion meant to your father. That's why generalizations are never correct.

My specific problem with Lawyers should probably be prefaced with 'Personal Injury'. I have never asked but I assume your father wasn't in that particular specialty. I will say that 'Attorneys' who assist the common people with navigating the mazes thrown their way in life are probably good.

My problem is with the scumbag Ambulance chasers who make obscene amounts of money suing corporations, insurance companies, Doctors, Hospitals and individuals because they know there will be a settlement due to fear of legal fees and costs of litigation that would bankrupt most.

These slime molds usually aspire to public office which has resulted in the current problems we have today in the US Congress. These personalities have no interest in compromise because litigation, confrontation and 'winning' is their way of thinking.

Thank you, and don't worry about it. My dad's practice of law fit more into what you said here:
'Attorneys' who assist the common people with navigating the mazes thrown their way in life are probably good.

But he was primarily a real estate attorney, which is why I wish he had been alive to watch that movie, Giant, with me, the other night, because I would have liked to have had his opinion on mineral rights.

Anyway...
What an Election night it is! Watching it all right now.

It seems the Dow Futures are showing us what a Trump Administration will do to our savings and ability to retire ... Will it be more than Black Tuesday 1929?
