Cherchez la femme. Not even remotely close to being on topic. If you have anything to say please make it less obtuse. |

Again, apologies for being chronically out-of-sync (thought I wanted to drop by and rant somewhere a little bit about the TPP... however this next point is equally important and will do nicely for today) Plus as I have said before, with the economic model used by the US and most other OECD countries relies on there being an increase in population every year, to pay the benefits. Because of the birth rate decrease in western society immigrants are an essential element part of population increase. Actually no. That's not the problem. It's a "solution" and a poor one at that. Say you've got a busted fuel-line and you're pouring in extra gas [petrol] to make up the difference. If the engine stalls I guess you could say the "problem" is you're not pouring in enough gas [petrol] to make up said difference but of course the REAL problem is... you've got a busted fuel-line. Subconsciously, the real problem here has already been identified. It lies in the first paragraph: Plus as I have said before, with the economic model used by the US and most other OECD countries relies on there being an increase in population every year, to pay the benefits. The REAL problem here is that "everybody" in the Western World (except maybe Norway for example, but I'm not sure TBH) calls this an "economic model" when we've got a muuuuuch better label for bird-brain ideas like this one: It's a textbook "pyramid scheme". And those are illegal. For good reason. ;) |

Please let's try to keep it to analyzing the arguments for or against Trump. The mind is a weird and mysterious place |

[Cherchez la femme. I'm not sure why you would bring gender into a political debate, but do have my suspicions. Good to know that you, Jann, are a supporter of djt. |

Good to know that you, Jann, are a supporter of djt. djt is a misogynistic blowhard who pretends to know $hit, who barely knows the meaning of the words that describe his psychological condition. |

Good to know that you, Jann, are a supporter of djt. I don't get it. First you are saying that I am a supporter of djt. Now it's because of my psychological condition. Well. Tell Trump that. He has all psychological conditions to not be voted the next President of the US. |

i will say this Jann. Anyone can use Google. Much of your "Renaissance Man" Spiel really is just "Google Search". It's sad that you rely on it as much as you do. |

Please, again, let's keep the discussion about Trump, and not get into personal bickering. The mind is a weird and mysterious place |

http://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-china-37269719 http://www.nytimes.com/2016/09/04/world/asia/obama-xi-staff-shouting-match.html?hp&action=click&pgtype=Homepage&clickSource=story-heading&module=a-lede-package-region®ion=top-news&WT.nav=top-news&_r=2 I think that if Americans would like to see how the rest of the world will react to a Trump presidency one only need observe how the Chinese are now treating the leader you have at present in their nation's capital. In the end your political problems are doing the important work of destabilizing your nation's economy, and it's prestige to the rest of the world for the benefit of your enemies. edit: Perhaps you have more important work to do than fighting with each other.... |

269 to 191 http://elections.ap.org/content/how-ap-rates-presidential-race-and-road-270-2 Still, Clinton's advantage is a strong one. If she holds Trump off in Wisconsin and defends her remaining leads, a victory in any of the several states now considered toss-ups would be enough for a November victory. |

Donald Trump (Republican)39.2% Not. The LA Times like Rasmussen has a Trump bias, probably about 3% or 4%. The Fox News Poll which you might think would have a Trump bias said Clinton - 41%, Trump - 39% in its W/end poll You need to go read 538 - 13 Tips For Reading General Election Polls Like A Pro before quoting polls and making public statements on them. |

President Trump? Most likely my gut feeling says... “What am I supposed to do if I don’t like him and I don’t trust her?†a millennial black woman in Ohio asked. “Choose between being stabbed and being shot? No way!†|

I have to say I cannot agree with your idea's that the 'established pollsters' are a problem. Because to do an unbiased random poll takes quite a bit of money, and research says they also need to be human to human questioning. So automated questioning which is usually only done on landline, which will be biased as a lot of the younger parts of the population tend not to have landlines, or the internet where you just cannot trust the answers. Therefore non-established pollsters who will use automated questioning cannot be trusted, not because they are intrinsically dishonest, but because there methods are poor. You really do need to read that link from 538 and then you will see those establishment pollsters like the USC Dornsife/LA Times do have a built in bias and you need to read as many polls as possible and follow how the trends are moving. Or leave it to sites like http://fivethirtyeight.com/ who are not pollsters, they are statisticians who are studying the polls, and have a very good record, and admit their mistakes when they get it wrong http://fivethirtyeight.com/features/how-i-acted-like-a-pundit-and-screwed-up-on-donald-trump/. In 2008 Ned Silver was very close with his prediction in 2012 he was absolutely spot on, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nate_Silver#2012_U.S._elections |
