Message 1810232 - Posted: 18 Aug 2016, 23:00:25 UTC - in response to Message 1810210.

This started a continuous attack against me. Without answering an important question.

Clyde my attack is not against you but against your illogical condescending manner of putting people down.

Then why don't you attack democrats (most of whom are felons) for their condescension?

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2010/02/04/AR2010020403698.html

We know what's going to happen if that felon, hillary, takes the white house next--we're going to get more of the same drop in real income, more of the same increased national debt, more of the same lower labor participation rate, more of the same exporting of jobs, more of the same lying, cheating, stealing and total disregard for the "rule of law."

With President Trump, living at the renamed "Trump House" (after he gets some of his people in there to rebuild it into something worthy of a president), we're not exactly sure of what we're going to get next, but we know for damn sure it's not going to be more of the same old tired liberal crap that's destroying this nation.

With Clinton or Trump, we'll get more of the same: flood up economics.

IE: The Poster (you know who he is). Who has continually attacked Christians. Attack those, who attack Muslims, as Bigots. Then, I asked, why isn't he a 'Bigot' against Christians?

So, you're saying he cannot see the mote in the eyes of some fundametalist Muslims? I think you've missed quite a few of his posts.

BTW, OzzFan was a mod 9 years ago, so he and I go way back. He may go further back with the poster you do not wish to name than you do.

Sarge...

The 'Poster' I mentioned, wasn't OzzFan.

The 'Poster' and I. Also go back a long time. With great disagreements.

With Clinton or Trump, we'll get more of the same: flood up economics.

Yes Sarge. I agree.

So, you're saying he (the poster who shall not be named that is not OzzFan, added) cannot see the mote in the eyes of some fundame[n]talist (sic on my part) Muslims? I think you've missed quite a few of his posts.

As for something relatively on topic, the above quote remains unanswered.
And Clyde, the next part is not an attack: I do agree with others that you are missing some things being said and thus may not be responding to what they actually say.
Case in point, a very minor example just occurred: I know your main disagreement is not with OzzFan. I know who it is with.
The only reasons I included OzzFan at the end of my post are: (1) he's basically making the same point I am now and (2) you told him you have a long history of disagreements with "the poster you aren't naming right now", but Ozz has been here a looong time as well. Maybe longer when it comes to using the message boards. (I also suspect he has a pretty good memory.)

I'm not sure he is missing it, I suspect he is intentionally ignoring it.

I'm sure he, Ozz, does have a good memory. Was going to look up when I first started posting, but it seems there is a limit on how far back you can go in history. I'm pretty sure Ozz was here before I started posting much. I'm trying to remember if I had any posts on Classic, if so it was only a handful.

Now as to that nameless poster, I think he is upset because a clueless poster denies that all persons are human. The clueless ones posts seem to project an air of privilege for a group he was brought up in, but now disclaims, except when he wants privilege, or thinks he can stir the pot.

He seems to be of the opinion that only Group M does terrible thing K. He refuses to acknowledge that Group C also does terrible thing K. He invokes his privilege to strengthen his denial of facts including the fact that Group C is made of humans as is Group M. He also seems to ascribe to Group M people who are not Group M but another Group T. Group M abhors Group T. Group T claims membership in Group M but they are not members. That is misconception Group T wants to foster as it will get a response that might include Group M fighting Group C. In any case individual L, a/k/a individual S or individual D is the one who profits from this.

In any case Bobby, Ozz and Sarge seem to be able to read and comprehend English, and follow a conversation. Perhaps I'm guilty of using a writing style that requires a minimum IQ to understand and also, unlike conservative talk radio, requires a person to think about what is being said in context. I don't write for ditto heads. I know sometimes it goes way over some people's ability to understand.

<OB>Unlike Trump who aims for a point much lower than the lest common denominator; a base point.

Can't wait to see how long before he dribbles out something from his classified briefing! Just hope it doesn't get an operative killed.

Logic helps prove stuff right?
So prove to me Logically that there is no God.

Forgive me my Allusions.
I don't actually believe that we now have a GOD in place, in this UNIVERSE,
but suspect that as this UNIVERSE evolves a Universal Consciousness will result.

Logic can't prove non-existence. Logic dictates that there is no reason to believe there is a God.

Trump Style indeed.
How can anybody trust a man choosing a campaign chairman like Manafort?
Ukrainian government National Anti-Corruption Bureau studying secret documents claimed in August 2016 to have found handwritten records that show $12.7 million in cash payments designated for Manafort, although they had yet to determine if he had received the money.[13] These undisclosed payments were from the pro-Russian political party Party of Regions (of Viktor Yanukovych, the former president of Ukraine).[13] This payment record spans from 2007 to 2012.[13] Manafort’s lawyer, Richard A. Hibey, said Manafort didn’t receive “any such cash payments” as described by the anti-corruption officials.[13] The Associated Press reported on 17 August 2016 that Manafort secretly routed at least $2.2 million in payments to two prominent Washington lobbying firms in 2012 on Party of Regions's behalf, and did so in a way that effectively obscured the foreign political party's efforts to influence U.S. policy.[39] Associated Press noted that under federal law, U.S. lobbyists must declare publicly if they represent foreign leaders or their political parties and provide detailed reports about their actions to the Justice Department, which Manafort reportedly did not do.[39] The lobbying firms unsuccessfully lobbied U.S. Congress to reject a resolution condemning the jailing of Yanukovych's main political rival, Yulia Tymoshenko.[40]

Continuous Problem...

I respond to 'The Poster'. And others, not 'The Poster', responds.

Why is it a problem when others respond to a post that itself is a response to a comment by a third poster? The whole point of a public forum is that it is public, anybody can respond to any post.

Case in point, Gary's comment about it being easier to be a bigot than to get an education was a response to a post by janne. Why did you chose to respond to it? Why is it objectionable that others not Gary respond to your post on Gary's comments, yet not objectionable for you not janne to respond to Gary's post on janne's comments? Why in your response to Gary's post did you accuse Gary of acting in a way (attacking a group) not supported by the post he made (which at most was a comment about Trump)?
I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that ...

Also, CLYDE knows better than millions of Democratic Party primary and caucus participants. For all CLYDE likes to suggest that he opposes those who believe they are superior to others, his own words appear to show that he believes he is superior to large numbers of fellow citizens.

It is the state of the Union, buddy.
And if I can be so bold to admit this......
The selling out of our country to illegal immigrants who were born to take handouts and vote Democratic to reward those giving out our tax dollars to those who do not deserve, nor have earned nor paid for them.

These are not Klu Klux Klan members who feel this way, but, as the chestnut term goes....'Honest, law abiding white folk'.....who have paid their dues and taxes for years and see their influence in our government coming to nothing.

Whether you believe that is right or wrong, they and I are NOT bigots or racists.

They simply wish the borders to be protected and their rights and protections not given away willy nilly to any special interest group that raises their voice.

Trump, I believe, has struck a chord with those of us who have worked all of our life to pay into the system and wish it to remain intact when we need it.
Which I shall have to just not too many years from now. Not to see liberal democrats give it away from under our feet.

This is the fear that Trump is playing into, and sadly, I am afraid it is a real fear.

I only wish for hope and change, just not the brand of it that Obama has delivered.
"Freedom is just Chaos, with better lighting." Alan Dean Foster
