Agreed, but for Hillary, to the unknowing, it looks like she is doing something about the low taxes paid by the rich. Even though because they can afford to pay good tax consultants they probably won't.

I beg to differ.

The 'rich' do not have 'low taxes'.

First, what do you mean by 'rich'? Top 1%?? Top 10%?? Top 50%??

The top 1%:
Income level: AGI >= $418,713.00 per year.
Share of AGI = 19.04%.
Share of Federal Income Tax revenue = 37.8%.

Top 10%:
Income level: AGI >= $127,695.00 per year.
Share of AGI = 45.87%.
Share of Federal Income Tax revenue = 69.8%.

Top 50%:
Income level: AGI >= $36,841.00 per year.
Share of AGI = 88.51%.
Share of Federal Income Tax revenue = 97.22%.

For completeness -- Bottom 50%
Income level: AGI <= $36,841.00 per year.
Share of AGI = 11.49%.
Share of Federal Income Tax revenue = 2.78%.

Source: http://taxfoundation.org/sites/taxfoundation.org/files/docs/TF_FF491_Summary%20of%20the%20Latest%20Federal%20Income%20Tax%20Data%2C_2015%20Update.pdf

Low taxes paid by the 'rich'?? I Don't Think So.

The 'top 10%' earn almost 46% of the income, but pay 69.80% of the Federal Income Taxes...

The 'top 1%' earn around 19% of the income, yet pay 37.8% of the Federal Income Taxes...

These two groups, plus the entire top 50% pay significantly MORE of the Federal Income Tax than their share of the Income being taxed might suggest.

The entire bottom 50% pay next to none ( < 3%) of the Federal Income Taxes collected.

The 'rich' are getting soaked on their taxes, and the 'poor' are freeloading.

Don't blame me, I voted for Johnson(L) in 2016.

Truth is dangerous... especially when it challenges those in power.

snipped...

You missed the underlined.

And the last sentence is still true, because without advise we would be paying even higher taxes, because the tax laws are only understood if you study them. Yes, even though retired I still fall into the higher rate tax paying group.

I use an accountancy firm that has an ex-chief tax inspector on its staff, for that very reason.

Department of Justice is protecting Clinton *again*

http://www.cnn.com/2016/08/09/politics/hillary-clinton-emails-judicial-watch/index.html

The current ruling class needs to be broken up if we are save this country. Why do all you useful idiots keep supporting this felon?

Trump is our only choice.

A couple of people who've mishandled classified documents:

LTG David Patraeus: gave his calendar to his mistress to help her write his biography--resigned in disgraced, fined $100,000, two years probation.

Edward Snowden: proved our NSA was violating our 4th amendment--wanted for treason, living in exile

Hillary Clinton: ran an unauthorized, insecure email server, mentioned an Iranian operative's name, was hacked, that Iranian was just hanged as a spy--running for president of the U.S.

I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that ...

Possibly nobody can break up the ruling class in America like Donald.

I disagree, a lot of his proposals lead me to suspect he wants to join that class. It could be that at the moment they reject him because of how he acts and is economical with the truth. He even tries to lie under oath, WP - Trump: A true story

Another Trump claim unravels, Sean Hannity’s tale of a Trump rescue

“The Trump campaign has confirmed to Hannity.com that Mr. Trump did indeed send his plane to make two trips from North Carolina to Miami, Florida to transport over 200 Gulf War Marines back home.”
— quote in article titled “200 Stranded Marines Needed A Plane Ride Home, Here’s How Donald Trump Responded,” Sean Hannity Show website, May 19, 2016

Despite the rumors on base, it’s clear that Trump had nothing to do with the dispatch of the jet to Camp Lejeune. The aircraft that ferried the troops was part of the Trump Shuttle fleet, at a time when Trump barely had control over the airline and was frantically trying to negotiate deals with bankers to prevent the collapse of his business empire.

Trump Shuttle had a contract with the military and this flight home was part of that contract. Simple as that.

And his business empire isn't doing so well either, The Trump campaign has been a disaster for the Trump brand

Analyses have shown that Trump's real estate investments and other business ventures have drastically underperformed the U.S. stock market over the course of his career. "Had Trump gotten out of real estate entirely, put his money in an index fund based on the S&P 500 and reinvested the dividends, he'd be worth twice as much — $6 billion — today" as he is currently, Max Ehrenfreund wrote last year.

Trump's non-real estate ventures have often failed. "Forays into casinos, airlines, professional football and other industries have ended badly," as Ana Swanson outlined in February. To say nothing of his failures in vodka, steaks, and business education.

Trump isn't a completely self-made man. His father was a real estate mogul in his own right, and the younger Trump's own career was kick-started by a $40 million inheritance from his father as well as the ability to capitalize on the name his father had made for himself.

Trump's business failures have resulted in four bankruptcy declarations, something his political opponents have emphasized.

Perhaps more than anything else, Trump has remained secretive about his finances, refusing to release his tax returns. The returns could definitively answer a lot of long-simmering questions about Trump's financial situation, like his true net worth, whether he donates to charity, and the extent of his financial dealings with Russian businesses. The lack of concrete information in these areas has led many observers to assume that he's trying to hide unflattering truths about his finances.

Dangerous Donald is the ONLY ONE addressing valid concerns.

Is he?
He might say, so that he can get support from the working and lower middle class, but the few proposals that he has put forward tell a different story. As I pointed out in my reply to you (msg - 1808017) in msg - 1808142

The cat is among the canaries, and the canaries are scared to death. As well they should be. They grasp at straws by turning words as usual. To insinuate the 100 million LEGAL gun owners in America might stop Hi-liar-y by assassination is their normal tactic.

The canaries are staring at unemployment personally for the first time and facing a growing tide of really pissed off citizens who are tired of electing do nothings who squander their taxes on $1000 screwdrivers and $2000 toilet seats.

Pull all our forces out of Iraq and leave you all by your self after all it's got nothing to do with us .

I wonder what Israel will say when the only friend they have is America when we tell you all to F-off

LOL! The basic ignorance of Uranium deposits in the Western US in that statement is astounding.

To be frank, the US doesn't need OR WANT your resources PERIOD. And your opinion on American affairs matters even less than mine!

Get over yourself.

Dude what do you think is going to happen to the price of Uranium once 35% of the worlds know reserves are taken out of the market ???

Enjoy your high power prices oh and oil or coal wont help you with GW as that will have to be turn'd off very soon unless you wish to die of CO2 and yes I do know about the other so called alterative to using Uranium . Pitty the stuff you have is such a poor quality as the Chineese will also tell you to F-off as well so be prepared to pay high power prices as it's going to cost you heaps to process the ores you have . Nobody will buy the new reactors off you too so up goes the price of that teck . Can't remember what it's called but I'm shore you know what I'm talking about .

Yes, let's stop giving money away to freeloaders, stop our negative cash flow, start paying down our national debt, and start making deals that provide us with something positive and see what happens.

That's the joke on you lot . how can you do new trade deals when the whole world tell you to f-off . The world does not need anything you make as it can come from other country's so good luck trying to pay down dept when you can not trade because the world says F-off . You lot forget the rest of the world is not as greedy as you lot are and don't need you if we all have to build our own nukes and build up our armed forces .

Good luck with that . You Really are acting like drunken bunch of idiots arn't you to believe the Demy God Trump , "only I can fix all just trust me "

The U.S. can't tolerate another 4 years of the last 8 years.

Then change the Republican controlled Senate, it's probably their fault the US economy and jobs (that's not actually true, try looking at France and Spain) are in such a mess. They are also the cause of cuts in spending all the way down to local level, due to the row over the debt ceiling.

Put the blame where the people who actually caused it, just following your beliefs or those of D Trump, who hasn't said how he proposes to fix things yet.

Oh and his financial idea's, well he definitely put thought into those, they will not benefit the people who need it but will increase profits at Trump Companies.
