It's amazing, a whole nation concerned more with
young people picking at each other's buttons, but
not with picking at their own noses. What some of
your political speakers seem to be doing every day
on the television!

As for the recent Trump coverage in the biased media. Learned commentators feign the obvious knowledge that Donald Trump was sarcastically asking the Russkies to hack the missing E-mails. This was a taunt on the recent hack of Debbie Blabbermouth Schultz's E-mails that show her and the DNC working against poor Bernie. And the fact that 30,000 E-mails have "mysteriously" gone missing from Madam Clinton's private collection of graft and influence solicitations. Also, I think that Trump doesn't think that the Russians were involved at all and that this was a fabrication by the DNC to take the reporting away from the outrageous content of these very DNC E-mails about Bernie.

There was never more obvious sarcasm--those that deny it are disingenuous; in fact they are bald-faced Liars.

Was Trump crowning Bret Michaels a winner of Celebrity Apprentice sarcasm as well, then?

Clearly Mr. Trump has never read the First Amendment or he would know Mr. Khan has that right!

BTW what does this incident say about his advisors? Does he have any? Or are they required to say yes Almighty Trump all the time?

Can section 4 of the 25 amendment be invoked before Trump takes the oath? Love to see the results of an MMPI for Trump!

Correct me if I am wrong, but does that mean the
speaker of the house is not a shoe in like if the
electoral collage gets hung-up?

No, it would only say something about a plurality of those that vote. Among 3 candidates, that would mean anything greater than (100/3)%. Among 4, Anything greater than 25%. It says nothing about those who vote against him. It could say something about those who forego voting which could then allow him to become POTUS anyway. It says nothing about those too young to vote. So on and so forth.

I think we know very little about the real Donald Trump. I believe that most of what he has said and done up to now has been to garner attention. I think he figures that any attention is better than no attention.

And I think it is still possible that his whole campaign has been designed to guarantee a Clinton victory.

Huh? What do you mean?

The 'Speaker of the House' is elected by the members of the House at the start of every Session of Congress (once every 2 years) or when there is a vacancy in the position.

The Electoral College only deals with the election of the President and the Vice President.

Please explain your exact question. Thank you.

Don't blame me, I voted for Johnson(L) in 2016.

I thought that after an election and if no one gets enough
electoral collage votes to be named president, then the whole
thing goes in to the house of representatives and there with
a vote of the membership, the speaker becomes the president.
.. or am I wrong?

The house is required to choose from the top 3 candidates not one of their own unless one of the candidates is a member of the house. So, in that case Gary Johnson could win.

Top three candidates, but that is the top three electoral college vote winners. So if Johnson doesn't get any electoral college votes, it is criminal vs. criminal. Oh, the Constitution is silent if the are unable to pick a winner.

If Gary Johnson carries one state then he qualifies as a candidate to be chosen from IF the election goes to the House of representatives. Johnson is a former republican and is more popular with many house republicans than Donald Trump. I'm not saying that he would win but under those circumstances it is possible.

Might even be a bit likely as he knows how to politic in the halls of that building. Also both parties could agree to disagree and use him as a total block on the other party. 4 years of nothing at all happening.

Liberal LA Times Daily Poll, as of July 31st. After DNC Convention.

Hillary Clinton 42.1% Donald Trump 46.2%

http://www.latimes.com/politics/

Hmmmm

CBS poll July 31st. After DNC Convention.
Clinton 47%, Trump 41%

Compared to previous CBS poll July 24th. After GOP Convention.
Clinton 43%, Trump 44%.

edit] 538 -Election Update: Clinton’s Bounce Appears Bigger Than Trump’s

There are also a couple of national tracking polls that contain some post-convention data, and they aren’t as strong for Clinton so far. The USC Dornsife/Los Angeles Times tracking poll, which has generally shown favorable results for Trump, still shows Trump ahead by 4 percentage points, although Clinton has recovered slightly from a 7-point deficit a few days ago. Note, however, that the USC poll uses a week-long field period, so only about half of its interviews came after the DNC.

on the Amtrak back from PA, met a reporter. Said she was a Democrat that will vote for Trump. Why? Because nothing has really changed for the common person in 8 years and we just need some sort of change.
