Message 1804165 - Posted: 22 Jul 2016, 14:29:34 UTC - in response to Message 1804160.

Tell me how you can respect someone who has absolutely no respect for anyone else but himself?
Perfect description of Hillary...........

Now come on DG, isn't your basic politician over there corrupt anyway?

That's the way your political was setup in the 1st place wasn't it?

It's just the level of corruption, hatred and stupidity that varies. ;-)

Cheers.

Pretend that you were the advisor to President Donald Trump. What would you advise ?

I would like to take a shot at it myself. This is just the start.

Withdraw troops from S Korea, Germany, France, Japan, England. Keep only airbases in these countries.

Close 60% of our overseas bases.

    Eliminate entire departments: Education etc

Mandate 10% reduction per year in all remaining departments except DOD--use early retirement for those with 20 years. Mandatory retirement with those having 30 years.

    Initiate a draft.

Cancel F-35 program and other overly expensive and complicated weapons systems.

Make social security into a mandated IRA for those under 35 yrs of age. Establish Health savings accounts for the Medicare portion.

Impose 35% tariff on manufactured good from Mexico and China.

Start the Trans Canada Pipeline and drill for oil and gas domestically. Kick BP and others out of our territorial waters.

    Return capital gains to 15%.

Cut corporate taxes to the average rate of all industrialized nations.

Gee, it seems no one has even thought for a second
how the world will react to the Donald after he has
taken the chair of power. Does America think it is
so strong that the world will now sit down and let
themselves be pushed around like, like Americans by
    the Donald?
America be very carful of your expectations of how
the rest of world will react to you now! I personally
am a very nice person, but no one ever tries to push me
around more than once or twice, ever. I suspect there
are many more all over the world just like me.

    edit:
Heck, I'm one of the nicest people I know, I know lots of other nice people just like me....

Trump is going to be our next president.
Hillary is going to be unelectable, possibly in prison by that time.
Not that Trump is going to be an only choice.
He is the obvious choice. The correct choice. Not politically correct, to be true, but the man for the job.

Which is going to be a horrendous undertakeing, given the shambles that Obama is leaving in his wake.

This nation needs a president who is finally willing to say and do what 'we the people' wish him to do. And like him or not, Trump is that man.

I am sure many shall disagree with me. So be it.

When the polls fall, you shall see. And a lotta heads are gonna roll, kids.
More than some of you might think.

    Meow.

There are more posts bandied about here bashing one another than discussion of the topic on hand.

I would like to take a shot at it myself. This is just the start.

Withdraw troops from S Korea, Germany, France, Japan, England. Keep only airbases in these countries.

Close 60% of our overseas bases.

What about Turkey. Airbases need defending, who's going to do that. Defense is probably best done offshore, you are proposing bringing it back to the shores of the US and endangering millions if a war was to break out.

    Eliminate entire departments: Education etc

Who ensures at least a common set of standards across the country. Who pays to educate subjects and level so that students can be moved from low to higher standard states?

Mandate 10% reduction per year in all remaining departments except DOD--use early retirement for those with 20 years. Mandatory retirement with those having 30 years.

Who employs retrains and employs these people after this service?
30 years work is not long enough to save enough for retirement and health care in old age, who pays for this. Without immigration the birth rate is not high enough for the younger generations to support the old'uns.

    Initiate a draft.

Ah this is where your education budget is going, as a lot will now need extensive education and training to do the required jobs, and don't forget draftee's are usually only in for 19 months to two years.

Cancel F-35 program and other overly expensive and complicated weapons systems.

Don't forget that you are exporting these aircraft. The UK at least would expect multi-billions to recompense for lack of suitable aircraft and the two aircraft carriers built around the F35 specs.

Make social security into a mandated IRA for those under 35 yrs of age. Establish Health savings accounts for the Medicare portion.

That is essentially a tax, will go down like a lead balloon, thought we didn't want big goverment enforced policies.

Impose 35% tariff on manufactured good from Mexico and China.

Import export tariff's work both ways, the US could lose because of it's isolationist position. What about other places, India and Pakistan, what happens if industries relying on cheap labour move to Africa. Even China is starting to complain jobs are being exported.

Start the Trans Canada Pipeline and drill for oil and gas domestically. Kick BP and others out of our territorial waters.

BP is 50%, at least owned by US parties, has been for a long time. With Texas and California the places where the population is growing the most, and both are short of water already. Is increased gas production a realistic option?

    Return capital gains to 15%.

Cut corporate taxes to the average rate of all industrialized nations.

The US is already one of the lowest taxed places. How do you pay for all the extra's you have created by the unintended consequences rule?

Just a few quick thought's, could probably write a book if I had the time, just to answer these few ideas.

      And don't forget VN....
It was not the sons and daughters of the politicians that went off on their way to oblivion...........they were protected and hidden.
Some of whom survive to this day but will not talk about the 'hidden draft'.

I could write a book as well, but that shall have to wait until I retire, which is many years off at this point, because I am probably going to have to work until I die.

Actually one of his corporate staff claims to have written it. Corporate not campaign. That is a criminal violation. And a complaint already has been filed. It will be investigated by Comey and Lynch. After letting Clinton off the hook and all the screaming do you think they let Drumpf slide? Or is the Chief Justice having to go to a federal lockup to administer the oath?

Dull The Donald said he would cut taxes, increase military spending, increase infrastructure spending, spend more on education among other things.
He didn't say how it would get paid for. Inflation perhaps?

Cutting of all of the illegal benefits, perhaps?
Reducing them to those who are legally due them, perhaps?
That in itself would trim billions.

He'll cut farm subsidies to zero and need to take in another 10 million illegals to work at 1/10 the minimum wage picking the crops on the farms creating a North Korea famine right here in Amerika.

Except the economic benefits of illegal immigrants to the US economy is actually quite large. For instance in Texas the illegal immigrants are estimated to add about $20 billion to the states budget every year. They contribute payroll taxes and social security payments. The social security payments go towards paying for the elderly, but they themselves will not be eligible for these benefits as they are illegals.
And in the US as a whole, because illegal immigrants spend most of their low pay immediately it goes straight back into the economy and creates extra jobs.

If you don't realise it now, you will after they are forced to go because the US economy will collapse.
