The world population are getting older. Median age per country. http://dadaviz.com/i/4145 However Donald Trump still acts like some school yard bully. H. G. Wells. The World Set Free Government was a treaty, not a design; it was forensic, conservative, disputatious, unseeing, unthinking, uncreative; throughout the world, except where the vestiges of absolutism still sheltered the court favourite and the trusted servant, it was in the hands of the predominant caste of lawyers, who had an enormous advantage in being the only trained caste. Their professional education and every circumstance in the manipulation of the fantastically naive electoral methods by which they clambered to power, conspired to keep them contemptuous of facts, conscientiously unimaginative, alert to claim and seize advantages and suspicious of every generosity. Government was an obstructive business of energetic fractions, progress went on outside of and in spite of public activities, and legislation was the last crippling recognition of needs so clamorous and imperative and facts so aggressively established as to invade even the dingy seclusions of the judges and threaten the very existence of the otherwise inattentive political machine. H. G. Wells. The World Set Free The Political World Is DISGUSTING. Vote Least DISGUSTING. DJTrump. Prez in '17 Our ONLY Hope, for CHANGE. Yap. May we All have a METAMORPHOSIS. REASON. GOoD JUDGEMENT and LOVE and ORDER!!!!! |

I was speaking of Hillary's failed Russian Re-Set... Can somebody please expand on this a bit? I'd like to find out more. Oh, and I hit a mini-jackpot today :) Some days the internet makes you feel like there's a plethora of answers to any question imaginable and other times either my google-fu fails me or it's just next to impossible to find. Well today I got lucky. In all the economics stuff I've been reading & watching I've never managed to find anyone guesstimate what's being said in the first 1:20 in this vid (you don't really need to watch the rest): Real-Life Gordon Gekko Is Feeling The Bern 5-10%? Ouch! I thought at worst that'd be 25-35% :( |

If Trump loses in a contested convention will he try to run as an independent or support the nominee? Would he accept VP? Would Cruz accept being Trump's VP? I can say with almost 100% surety Trump would not accept a VP role, but I think he would run independently if he felt he was in any way treated unfairly at the convention. I really haven't paid this much attention to the presidential race since Ford and Carter! The mind is a weird and mysterious place |

Trump is a Rank Amateur. No doubt about that, but I think in spite of it all, he's probably even surprised himself deep down inside that he's gotten this far. I will give him credit though that as many times in the past that he postured about running he didn't, and I never thought he would, but this may be the best opportunity that has ever presented itself for him. Trump won't run as an independent, he'd have to spend his own money....... Gerald Ford was a good man who was treated badly, his calm demeanor helped heal the biggest rift in America since the Civil War. Far better VP than Agnew.... "Sour Grapes make a bitter Whine." <(0)> |

Ever since the partisan demeanor the Newt brought the the Republican party they have no taste for good people. Winning means more to them than doing the right thing. |

Timeline? Because the first batsh*t-crazy young psycho republicans (I think) appeared during Reagan's admin. I probably got that from this fantastic doc: Edit: Eew! Pro IMDB? Bleah! Blame Bing for putting it up top and me for... using Bing;) Here's vanilla IMDB: Casino Jack and the United States of Money Since next to no-one will have watched or will watch the doc, please just watch the trailer on IMDB. It's only 2:30 min :) I promise it's worth two-and -a-half minutes of your life. |

@ Alex And just what, pray tell, could I possibly learn about the evil of lobbyists, and the corruption of money in politics from watching that film that... uhh... I DON'T ALREADY KNOW??? (as should all 'Americans' that pay attention and don't have their heads in the sand). @ Everyone Been there.... Done that... (both sides)... quit it in total disgust at the... crap these people get away with. This is the MAIN reason I am no longer a 'R', nor a 'D' for that matter. Both of them do the same dang things. Yes, some of you are correct when you point out the evil in large corporations. Others need to see that the same evil is present in labor unions. What can we do to stop this? Many say 'pass a law'. Well: Tacitus wrote: The more corrupt a government, the more numerous are its laws. The ONLY rational solution to the problem of money-corruption of government is to put strict, severe limits on government power. When the government has no power to do something, it really doesn't matter to attempt to influence politicians on the subject with large sums of money. Back (slightly) on topic... Trump... He is bad, evil poison. But guess what? So are all the other candidates from the two major parties. Even the relative newcomer, Cruz, has now been owned by special-interest factions through the power of lobbyist's moneybags. Do yourself a favor this fall. Do the nation a favor this fall. Vote for candidates, in every race you can (not just President), that will support a return to strict, Constitutional, limits on government's power (and NOT one from either the Republicrats or the Democans -- they are really just two sides of the same authoritarian coin). Let there be Liberty and Freedom in the USA once again! https://youtu.be/iY57ErBkFFE #Texit Don't blame me, I voted for Johnson(L) in 2016. Truth is dangerous... especially when it challenges those in power. |

WinterKnight... Well That's smart voting pitty us the voter has to do it but we hold the power not them Plus you can always stop her in the senate(congress) after 2 years with the 1/2 senate vote As you say the lesser of 2 evils Hitler had to win 2 elections to get power so no harm in throwing a spanner in the works for 2 years it will at least make them start to do there job instead of taking bribes |

Kong go greenie mate or independent As for small gov isn't that a lot of the problem too many small governments making different rules and this allows some to be corrupt . Government is there to do the big things as you say well what are the big things . Not even Utopia has a small government . You mean a clean transparent government that's honest . Well you wont get that voting Millionaires and Billionaires into government they will all ways have a conflict of interest and abstaining is a joke . |
