I honestly think this is a myth. I think I see why we all ("normal" people that is) rationalize it like that and it's somewhere between our inability to fully understand complex mental illnesses (or whatever PC label you want to call it) and our natural tendency to fall into cognitive dissonance.

It's always about psychopathy and narcissism. Always. And yes "always" does include the odd outlier... but nowhere near as many as you'd think.

Personally I want to call Trump a narcissist but apparently narcissists are mostly good at keeping things together. And apparently psychopaths are the one's that run their businesses to the ground.

Also, an idiot is someone that's "slow". But when we use it on Trump what we really mean is he's a d*ck. Or an a*hole.

So if Major Kong wakes up tomorrow with "absolute power" then sure, maybe somewhere down the line you get duped into getting a bit corrupted. Lying will never come naturally. Your ability to access every bit of history you ever learned and apply it to current situations will still function in a millisecond, nagging you.
