Actually, I doubt there's a single sentence in Reich's article that Clyde fundamentally disagrees with. Besides, what Clyde calls "disgusting capitalists" Reich and I call "pathological narcissists".

This political science professor (Helmut Norpoth) at Stony Brook University in New York predicts that if Trump is the Republican nominee, he has a 97% chance of beating Clinton, and a 99% chance of beating Sanders in the General Election. If either Cruz or Rubio is the Republican nominee, they have a small chance of beating Sanders, but will lose to Clinton.

Back in the 1980 campaign, there was a Republican candidate that wound up winning not only the Republican nomination but also the General election...

Turns out they were correct. Reagan's staff spent the last 2 years of his presidency covering up and explaining away a lengthening string of... well... 'Senior moments'.

Reagan was 69 years old when he was inaugurated.

Let us look at the Republican frontrunner and the 2 Democrat candidates.

On Inauguration Day:

Clinton would be 69... same age as Reagan.
Trump would be 70... a year older than Reagan.
and Sanders would be 75... 6 years older than Reagan.

Do we REALLY need to run the risk of another President going... uhh... there really isn't a way to put it nicely, but you know what I mean... while in office with their finger on 'The Button'??
