I think most of Trump's support come from people who don't vote. Never have and never will, but they always complain about the government. Bob DeWoody My motto: Never do today what you can put off until tomorrow as it may not be required. This no longer applies in light of current events. |

You all DID notice that the Obama administration has finally acknowledged late last week that Clinton had Top Secret stuff on that illegal home email-server she was using? So how much smoke is there in the Republican camp then. Colin Powell and Condoleezza Rice used private accounts for classified emails |

I think that a man with the thought of realizing that the budget should be run like a corporation might be a good thing for this country Mark the govt is not a corporation, it's purpose is to do what needs to be done what the private sector can not do. |

I think that a man with the thought of realizing that the budget should be run like a corporation might be a good thing for this country And you think that gives the government a blank check to raise taxes over and over and still run forever in the red? You realize this is not sustainable forever. The American government has gotten away with it for too long already. And that is part of the anger of the American public that Trump is drawing on, and why many are supporting him. "Freedom is just Chaos, with better lighting." Alan Dean Foster |

I think that a man with the thought of realizing that the budget should be run like a corporation might be a good thing for this country Sounds about like how "trump the bankrupt" ran his businesses. Spend more than you take in... |

So how much smoke is there in the Republican camp then. Have you read the article and my previous posts. If you had then you would realise that Colin Powell and I have similar views of government officials who, probably because they don't understand and read a heading or the opening para and immediately decide because it is to do with a particular subject it must be classified at a higher level than is justified. Powell rejected the inspector general’s findings and called for the emails to be released. He told NBC News: “I wish they would release them, so that a normal, air-breathing mammal would look at them and say, ‘What’s the issue?’†It is quite probable that this is the same for all these documents. |

It is quite probable that this is the same for all these documents. Having been on the end of similar problems I say the word "probable" is absolutely correct. |

And you think that gives the government a blank check to raise taxes over and over and still run forever in the red? Mark I did not say that why did you say I did? As far as taxes and the programs they support there may very well too much waste but that does not necessarily mean the programs aren't needed. |

I think that a man with the thought of realizing that the budget should be run like a corporation might be a good thing for this country @ everyone, IMO, Gary makes a good point here, though perhaps he does not realize it. "Trump the Bankrupt". Trump has experience in dealing with the aftermath of bankruptcy. The US Federal Government is, for all practical purposes, bankrupt. Its debts exceed the amount the US economy produces in an entire year (GDP). Perhaps we do need someone with Trump's experience to help us turn things around and get back into the black (as opposed to the red) ink on our nation's balance sheets. That said... Trump?!?!? Oy Vey! The Donald needs to go back to guest appearances on WWE broadcasts. |

Trump has experience in dealing with the aftermath of bankruptcy. He has bragged about using the bankruptcy laws to his advantage. That doesn't endear me to him. Maybe it would if I was in business and I wanted advice on how to bail myself out of something, but as President I'd rather see him create a new way. The mind is a weird and mysterious place |

IMO, Gary makes a good point here, though perhaps he does not realize it. Sure he deals with it, but the real issue is he creates it first. But since all bills spending money originate in the House, the office he seeks won't have much more than hot air to do with spending. |

Trump may (hopefully will) self-destruct. Are you calling your own post silly? If not, the "smug superiority" here would seem to be your view of your fellow posters. I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that ... |

I'm just ready to see how New Hampshire plays out. I think Trump is ahead, but as we've seen, polls don't always translate in the end, and it will be interesting to see how Cruz and Rubio do, too. There's been criticism that Trump is a little distant in his campaigning style, and I think that might be why people supposedly committed to him in polls aren't turning out in reality. The panic attack because someone might see that you are a Trump supporter. The panic attack that there could be a non-WASP at the polling place. ;-) Of course it might be that people are just messin' with the pollsters for fun. |
