Arrr! I didn't have another picture up my sleeve! Thank you Angela. The choice is between something safe and cuddly or something else "interesting", so let's go with the "interesting". There is a back story to several of the elements in this picture. Irataba (right) was a leader of the Mohave Nation. He died 141 years ago on 3rd August and on that day this will be Wikipedia's "Today's Featured Article". On the left is Ohatchecama, another Native American leader. Bonus points are available for in-world captions! Photographer Carlo (AKA Charles) Gentile, circa 1870 |

I am ready for my close up Mr. DeMilo. Or Isn't this the way world leaders dress? or Latest French fashions directly from the Napoleonic wardrobe. |

Well done everyone and thanks for playing! In third place is Graham Middleton - there is in fact a slight resemblance: Peter Cook & Dudley Moore in a failed early publicity photo. Second goes to rob smith with this clever idea: White man he take colour from our faces... And our winner is celttooth, picking up as did several others on the incongruous clothing which features in Irataba's story: One leader to the other: A smoke signal is on its way. |
