I managed to get 4 as well here.
Hey Zal, do you have a tried and tested (EDIT: GTX 980) AP command line?
I have been meaning to ask, but since there are so few tasks I haven't worried about it much.

Well now we know...

It would appear that BLC's OpenCl does prolong the crunching time for the AP's OpenCl.

Hard to say how much since I don't have any old AP run times to compare them to lol....

Thanks Zal, now to wait a month or two to see how it performs.

Hi,
appears to be dead but I got one. http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/workunit.php?wuid=2479033902
Since it is so long I checked the run times of APs I do not know if 500 seconds is a good or a bad time. -unroll was 20, it should have been (maybe) 28 for 1080Ti.

AP is dead and gone. Don't expect it to reurn in any big way, ever again.
Have you all forgotten the messages from DA, that this project is winding down?
Nebula is here to analyze the results we collected over the years, and then S@H as we know it will shut down.

There was rumor of running AP on the GBT data, but I don't know if that's going to end up happening. I haven't heard anything about it other than some that are in-the-know mentioning it kind of in-passing a while back.

I suspect new data from Arecibo is pretty much done and over though, but GBT seems like it's going to be around for a while. So.. there's no harm in going and checking all the Arecibo results since there's basically not going to be new results coming in anymore. That's my opinion.

Likewise, did you forget the post from Dr. K. shortly thereafter indicating that (as was noted) this is just the "classic" Arecibo part that is being completed? S@H has been tasked with processing the Breakthrough Listen data, and this part is just getting started. They're looking at entire new receivers/data sources for one...

I was worried that Dr. A.'s message wasn't clear enough and would be interpreted this way and it would cause the donations to dry up.

Which is the way I personally read the message. I wondered when the day would dawn and the S@H servers would simply be gone..........thanks for the clarification and good to know the 'little people' of the project are still valued. Hopefully AP will be applied to Breakthrough Listen, it's a shame to have that piece of analytical software lying dormant on so many platforms.

I didn't get S@H is winding down/stopping in any way from the Nebula messages. Getting data from other observatories has been in the works for quite some time. I believe we had a donation drive to get some of the hardware to collect GBT data in 2013/2014ish. Breakthrough just seems to have given the funds to get the rest of the GBT recording stuff done.

I believe it was near the end of the summer, 2016, Eric stated something along the lines of they had a plan to look into splitting AP for the GBT data.
Since we haven't heard anything I would guess the plan to look into it is still in place.
If the time, money, and resources are in place I'm sure AP v8 will go into testing at Beta.

I have posed the question to Eric again.
He did once tell me that AP searching on GUPPI data was gonna happen, but it was some time ago.

I shall report back if he responds.
