Ah yes, the infamous "squirrel hunts". Think I might even still have a loop somewhere in the basement ... Got a few, but it looks like Aricebo processing is shut down right now. At least, the MB and AP splitters aren't running; only GBT. |

Does anyone 'in the know' know if there will be any new AP tapes split? Or is that now a dead program with the advent of Breakthrough Listen data? I'm just frustrated with the lack of APs (as I'm sure is everyone who follows this thread). Regrinding the 6 year old chaff gets tiresome....... "Sour Grapes make a bitter Whine." <(0)> |

Currently APs are only being split from the (old) Arecibo tapes, so next time a few of them are loaded we will get a few APs. Bob Smith Member of Seti PIPPS (Pluto is a Planet Protest Society) Somewhere in the (un)known Universe? |

Eric has said that he WILL be enabling AP work from the GBT data streams. Not sure how soon, but he has said it will be forthcoming. "Freedom is just Chaos, with better lighting." Alan Dean Foster |

Well, Mr Eric Korpela, Director of Seti@Home did say: Astropulse hasn't yet been implemented for the GBT data, but will be. |

As new Arecibo data sets arrive there should also be AP split from them. Now when GBT data are splitted to wu's, it will take longer to split all Arecibo files, so longer wait between new AP's |

As new Arecibo data sets arrive there should also be AP split from them. It really depends on how they are wanting to distribute the work. I could guess they may hope for a 50/50 split between GBT & Arecibo data, but we will have to wait and see. At least until AP is implemented for GBT data. Then there may be a phase of loading previous GBT sets for AP work. SETI@home classic workunits: 93,865 CPU time: 863,447 hours Join the [url=http://tinyurl.com/8y46zvu]BP6/VP6 User Group[ |

Once again they are teasing us by splitting a few APs and I am trying to snag as many as I can. |

I got one single AP. I feel accomplished, actually. [edit: scratch that. Apparently I got two. But one of them was 100% blanked, and it was a B5_P0, which I've never seen one of those be 100% blanked before.] Linux laptop: record uptime: 1511d 20h 19m (ended due to the power brick giving-up) |

Pathetic AP run. As usual. I must agree, Sten-Arne. So far, despite altering preferences and wearing out the <Update> button, I've hooked a grand total of ... zero. Sad face. |

Still splitting them. So far, 49 across 4 machines. Nothing special, for sure ... |

18 of the elusive little creatures captured so far on this run, and hoping for a couple more. "Sour Grapes make a bitter Whine." <(0)> |
