The state gov here has put up the prices for power for the last 3 years running , First they said that it was for upgrades and to make the system gold plated ( meaning they where making it fool proof) . Then they blamed the Federal gov's Carbon Tax (witch was only 10%) . And then there was a state election not long ago and that is when we finally found out what was going on and why the price has gone up 90% .

It wasn't the Carbon Tax , it wasn't to Gold plate the system .

They wish to lease the Poles and Wires out to private company's for 99 years .

In other words sell the poles and wires off .

There is also a simular type of thing happening with the generators but that's because there trying to recope the cash they will need to decommission them and clean up the areas there in . Only it hasn't made the headlines yet in the papers .

So be careful sounds like there up to simular things over your way .

That's when we found out the truth so i would write your local state M.P and demand answers .

Start a Facebook page up or a hash tag on Twitter social networks are good for things like that getting the bastas to start answering questions .

State elections just happened last year. Bruce Rauner (R) just took office on January 12th, and elections happen every 4 years with no term limits.

From what i just read maybe this new guy will do something about it as the last guy was just a crook and probably started what ever is going on seeing as he's doing 14 years for bribes .

But then it look like you can't win whom ever you vote for the Repubilcans will make you pay and the Dem's seem corrupt and if the Republicans aren't yet corrupt then you can bet that is what will happen or at the very least they will look after there rich mates .

All depends on how honest they are ...cough , cough nearly choked on them words ! :)

All Illinois politicians are corrupt. From Democrat politicians stuffing bribe money in shoe boxes to Republicans under sexual misconduct charges, and everything in between!

You can round up all the politicians, put them in a bag, and beat it with a baseball bat and you'll never have to feel guilty about hitting an innocent one.
