After getting a new computer, I found that I had to re-download my Seti@Home program; did so right away. This was started weeks ago and has produced nothing but a never-ending download. Every time the green band reaches the end of the bar (after hours of taking at least 2 hours of the time when my computer is not in use) it starts all over again. Weeks of a perpetual download - maddening! Would appreciate help ending this process and getting my rainbow waterfall back.

Checking the account you're posting with, you only have two old computers on it that haven't contacted the project in the last 30 days.
So, then checking the user search on your name, I see there are 4 accounts with your name on them. One of these has a Celeron G1820, with an Intel HD Graphics GPU.

If that's your computer, you can see it's been downloading, calculating and returning work as normal. It just means you have two or more accounts. You must have signed up again when you installed BOINC on the new computer and added Seti. Instead of using "Yes, existing user" you must've added it using "No, new user", which makes a new account.

About the green band, it depends on where you see this one.
Which view are you using:

Simple view? If this view, the green band on here shows the progress a task has made in calculations, not the amount of data it has downloaded. When it reaches 100% a new tasks starts from 0%. Quite normal.

Or Advanced view? Here it depends on what tab you look in, but the Tasks tab shows all the progress of tasks, how far they are in calculations. The Transfer tab shows the actual downloads and uploads, and depending on your internet speed you will see the downloads only a short time because of the small file size of Seti tasks (~365KB per task).

But I presume you've got the green progress bar on Simple view confused with a download progress bar.

As for seeing graphics/screen saver, only CPU tasks have the graphics application that shows the graphics and the Seti screen saver. Tasks run on the GPU lack this graphics component, and will show the default BOINC screen aver instead. To be able to see the screen saver, make sure you've got BOINC set as your screen saver in the Windows screen saver window (Control Panel\Appearance and Personalization\Personalization\Screen Saver).
