Will there be any plans to offer a SETI Radio KIT for researchers and SETI Citizens? How do you listen to interstellar signals using a radio? |

Will there be any plans to offer a SETI Radio KIT for researchers and SETI Citizens? How do you listen to interstellar signals using a radio? The SETI League's Project Argus does have more technical information on how to actually construct a system like that. All new equipment for a kit would be several thousand US dollars minimum and there's unlikely to be much demand. Given the need for a 10 to 16 foot dish, portability is not reasonable. Joe |

I was inspired to find the latest technology today to buy a kit to build a low-cost Infrared Receiver for observing signals similar to the new Near-Infrared Optical Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (NIROSETI). Only less powerful and to observe nearby stars. |
