We had talked about his failing health in the thread about Ben E. King's passing when I was mistaken about who it was.

Unfortunately, B.B King has also now passed away.
He was 89.

May he rest in peace with the rest of the blues greats that have preceded him to heaven.

He played teh Visalia Convention center in teh early 70s, when I was in high school. Loved it. He played our Fox Theater just a couple years ago, but I missed it due to a prior commitment.

Thank God we have recordings. Not the same as live performance, but the music, and the memories, live on.

Who did the song about Rock-n-Roll Heaven? They've added a few great musicians to that group lately.

Indeed a GREAT ONE has passed on R.I.P B.B.hopefully your music will live on. One thing at least I did have the good fortune several years ago to actually see B.B. perform at an all day blues festival Absolutely Great.

The facts shall come out when his last will and testament comes out.

I know nothing other than what you do at this point.

But....................I shall place a bet that the ones crying wolf are not going to be treated so kindly in his will, and they know so. So they are raising a stink to try to poison the will.

Just my suspicions, the truth shall come out at some point.
Just conjecture, but I see no other reason for his relatives to claim that his manager poisoned a man already very close to his time with the Lord. Makes no sense other than in the context I am guessing on.
