Since last 24 hours my "Valid Tasks" window opens up with the same data as before, no new results added and no old results removed. 182 valid tasks in all, line by line the same results as previous all. Any body has similar problems? Anybody has a remedy to this?

HELP PLEASE...

No the problem affects everyone.

If you notice two post before you there was a link, if you follow that it will take you to the thread where it is being discussed.

The replica database that displays all the account data is currently offline. It is expected that this will be addressed during today's outage.

Thank you Bernie, for the earliler response. As of now the Tuesday outage has ended and there is no improvement in the "All Tasks for ......" window. I see from your title that you are moderator/tester (even if voluntary), this means you have a better access to the system than a simple user like me/us, Please can you get a response to why this is happening and when this problem will be solved?

Please do accept my Thanks in advance and my apology of me being so insistent (this really means a lot to me).

As a retired moderator I can tell you that the moderators do not have any better access to news and information than the normal user, but what they do have to do is look at the majority of posts, so learn more of what is going on. There is a huge amount of information about the project, and an even larger amount of conjecture, on the forum. Bernie and I have been around for a few years, so have learned a lot of useful bits of information.

As for tester - that means we are taking part in the "SETI@Home Beta" project, which is where the next generation of applications are tested by a wide range of users on a wide range of hardware under "real world" conditions. Again, apart from the problems when a Beta test application crashes our hardware we do not have "special access" to the developers, or the project administrators.

Thanks Rob,

Being a comparatively new user (since Oct.2014), I am not really very familiar with a lot of processes that go on in this site and I got very desperate at a point. As of a couple of hours ago, the system started running and it is following a procedure whereby (my guess) it is first updating the earliest pending records and soon it may end in the most recent ones (I hope)...

Anyway, thanks to you and Bernie for being a guide...

Best Regards to all involved.

Again back to frozen "Task Status"??? Please someone, anyone try to post this issue as high as possible... Same error twice in one week? Something is going terribly wrong... I am a comparatively new user (Nov.1994), and this is my first serious error confrontation, and it gets very frustrating.

Sorry for being the cry-boy...

No something is not going terribly wrong, there is a problem but it does not actually affect your work or totals, just the display of your work and totals.

The work is still being done which is the main priority.

SETI@Home is run on a shoestring and relies heavily on donations. They will sort the problem out in time.

It has been said many times here that "patience isn't just a virtue it is a requirement."
