Have been running AP 7.05 for some time, but got this error msg today. What do I need to do to rectify? I have 2 other AP work units in the queue.

Thanks BilBg, also have a 750Ti and v 350.12

After installing Lunatics a few days ago I finally caught an AP resend and getting the same error.

Great explanation on what the fix is!

Boy, what a major PIA! I rolled back to 347.88 and things got back to normal. Also a GTX 750ti. Thanks for the fix.

... or You can open up the .cl file in text editor and replace all occurences of bool2 with bool_2. Then file-save. Exit.

Ahhh that might explain why I had a ton of bool2 errors on one file ... and it validated, geesh.

I reloaded the new app and it seems happy now.

Why "Your Bad"??

(I'm not in the course who 'invented' bool2 - if that was you: I think there was no way for anyone to know that NVIDIA will reserve bool2 in the future)

There are vector types of almost all base types in OpenCL <base_type>N,... but bool.
Actually I was quite surprised when this issue appeared first time in Urs' OS X build. Even bug report was filed to NV on this matter.
petri33's usage of bool2 in improved dechirping code looked absolutely natural and in line with other OpenCL vector types. Also it's in line with C++ spirit - user classes seamlessly augment builtin ones. It worked OK for ATi and iGPU so far, but NVidia decided to become "dog in the manger": to forbid users to use bool2 and not implementing bool2 in runtime by itself. So, ugly bool_2 name that doesn't follow vector types naming scheme had to be used.

I should have seen 'the official bool2' coming - it follows the data type naming scheme used with other vector types.
