Most rapes go unreported. Those rapists that are reported often don't get convicted.

Sirius seems to think the terrible things he has seen are unusual. What I am discovering as I get older is that they are not. I am finding out that many women I know have been raped. I know women that have been date raped, I know women who have been gang raped, I know women who have been raped at work, I know women who have been raped by family members, I know women who have been raped by people they knew.

What they all have in common is that they picked up their lives and carried on and don't tend to broadcast it to everyone they meet. I guarantee you all know someone who has been raped. I suspect you all know more than one.

Have you ever demonstrated outside a Saudi embassy? You're better off demonstrating outside your government buildings and demanding they do their jobs in representing the views of the people who put them there. That leaves American's off the hook for the next four years.

Two years ago, Sweden chose to suspend military cooperation with Saudi Arabia. In response, the Saudis chose to call its ambassador from Sweden home.
Now new information that say more than that behind the decision. According to the Swedish daily, the embassy in a letter explaining to the Foreign Ministry that the statements of Ms Wallström made in February is the cause.
"Dictatorship"
The statement referring to were made in the foreign policy debate in parliament on February 11 when Wallström among other things, said that Saudi Arabia is far from a feminist politics when women's rights are violated in that they can not even drive a car.
"You whip bloggers and have a royal family with absolute power. Then it is clear that we can not use any other word than dictatorship, "writes the Swedish newspaper Svenska Dagbladet that Margot Wallström said then.
Earlier, it emerged that Mrs Wallström's statement that Saudi Arabia use of medieval practices in the whipping of the jailed blogger Raif Badawi is also a cause.

I can only refer to the American Media, Politicians, Feminists, etc.

But the American Media do report a lot of the Middle East and the female oppression.

Jumana Nagarwala, 44, of Northville, Mich., was charged in federal district court in Detroit with female genital mutilation, transportation with intent to engage in criminal sexual activity and making a false statement to a federal officer, court records show. In a criminal complaint, FBI Special Agent Kevin J. Swanson alleged that two young girls traveled with their parents from Minnesota so Nagarwala could perform the procedure on them in early 2017, and that investigators had identified other children who might have been victimized between 2005 and 2007.

The Justice Department said the case is believed to be the first brought under the particular U.S. law that criminalized female genital mutilation.

Or just the game of accounting imbeciles blindly following 'the numbers' and real people and reality be damned?...

Past where I walk, there is an advertisement for a women's brand of swim/beach-ware. The main model is painfully anorexic with disproportionate thin limbs and gaunt face - painful to behold... Do the advertisers really believe she is good for showing their brand? Or is the unhealthy look a deliberate ploy to get noticed?

Goes completely against what I consider attractive or positive.


How do we get positive feedback into that artificial world?
