On the news today there is a report of the Supreme Court of America tells TEXAS that there laws on abortion are illegal and that they can't introduce laws stopping abortions .

Does this mean the TEXANS will now split from the United States and start a new civil war or does it mean they will have to grow up and abide by the courts decision and there constitution.

I suspect not as there is already talks of not appointing a new Judge until after the election .

So much for freedom right , if you don't like the independent umpires decision stack the deck and cheat to allow fascist ideas and religious nuts to rule .

I wont hold my breath that they will show maturity and abide by the courts .

Sirius, don't be disappointed if you never get the answer to the question you ask. If he was part of the machine, the American system where you serve your sentence then have trial, he would have to express an opinion upon himself. The entire system would collapse if trial had to be held before sentence is served. The machine depends upon plea bargains and guilty pleas. It can because of the incredible delay between arrest and trial. Frequently defendants who are innocent know that they would be on the streets today if they take the deal, or spend another two of three years in jail waiting for a judge. Only the wealthy who can pledge real estate as bail and hire their own lawyers get justice in America.

Unfortunately most are true and most victims are not believed and revictimised by the justice system.

Considering how many rapist walk free, penalising people who come forward because they were unable to prove they were assaulted is a simply terrible and stupid idea.

How about instead of getting up in arms about the tiny minority of false accusations, try to get outraged at the number of rape kits that are not being tested.

These could prove people guilty or innocent.
