my favorite was an 8oz can called 'Sparkling Stite by Gluek' out of Minneapolis, a Malt Liquor which became fashionable after the end of Prohibition.

When I think of malt liquor, I think of something like Colt 45.

The Christmas commercials that Budweiser did back in the 70's were favorites of mine.

<quietly steps in....

It seems to be awfully quiet in here.....

Anyhow, just thought I'd pop in while killing a bit of time between drinking venues. ;-)

Cheers.

My fondest memories of beer were of a limited brewing of Stroh's lager.
I knew the distributor personally, and bought a couple of kegs which I tapped in my living room in a fridge specially prepared with a tap handle on the door and a CO2 cannister inside.

I just came home from vacation.
My brew room is way to hot, i hope my brew is not going bad.
It still tastes fine tho.

Evening Gordon, the joint appears rather deserted the last few days...maybe too many beers in celebration?

G'evening, I hope that all has been well with everyone?

Finally (I hope) I've done my duties for the school holidays here and just in time to sit down and relax to watch the beginning of this year's 1st Ashes Test match. :-)

Anyhow, I'm about to start Rum O'clock and settle down to my type of sport.

I'll just have a quick look through what missed out on here lately while the test is on (I hope). ;-)

Cheers.
