Thanks Gordon, and as it's the 26th here, happy birthday to you. :-)

Cheers.

Thank you. I may have to buy a 6 pack of Guinness, but it's just not the same as draft.

Thank you. I may have to buy a 6 pack of Guinness, but it's just not the same as draft.

A couple of years ago my corner shop found in it's archives a bottle of Guinness Special Export (bottled in Nigeria??) Bejessus it near rotted my socks off, that was one strong gulp of Guinness I can assure you!! And nothing in the world like the draft version. I'd defy anyone to drink more than a couple of those without losing the plot :-)

I would love to try it!

The bottle I had definitely said bottled in Nigeria, but it was some years old! The current version is Belgian I gather at 8%. There is also Foreign Extra at 7.5%, and a 1759 version at 9%.

Guinness versions

Interesting. Diageo people stay here a lot. I may have to ask one of them about getting a special Guinness version.

Funny you should say that, because I do it all the time.
When I walk out my front door on a particularly beautiful day, I always raise my eyes to the sky and thank the Lord for allowing me the wonder of experiencing and sharing it with Him.

6 bottles of Guinness? Piece of cake! 6 pints of draft Guinness, NBC (No B****y Chance)

Guinness Special Export is 8 ABV. Draft Guiness is about 4.2 ABV.
That means that 6 bottles of Export is about 11 bottles of draft.
Or more than 6 pints of draft. More than 7 pints in the US.

So you are right Sirius.
It is a piece of cake:)

Cheers
