Coffee time here too Wiggo.

I started to drink chicory instead of coffee lately, much healthier.

But here it's much cheaper to just drink coffee, plus we smoke so "healthier" gets thrown out anyway Julie. ;-)

Time for another rum before dinner.

Cheers.

True.. I have been smoking non-stop for 25 years now. I looked up that Champix medication but the side effects can be horrible... I could try it with patches or just cold turkey but I think I need some professional aid in my case to be able to quit properly, which will be my goal for the coming period in my life.

I can add another 20yrs onto yours Julie, but I'm on this earth for a good time (not an extended drawn out long time). ;-)

Cheers.

Guden tag all.

Smoking, my last CFO smoked for 30 years, he was also overweight and went to a hypnotherapist for weight loss. He didn't lose a pound but mysteriously stopped smoking.........he retired at 70 years old and promptly developed and died of cancer within a year.

Moral? There is none.

It's all in your lucky or unlucky stars. We all eventually die from something.

A friend told me a story about a 71 year old who recently changed Doctors. After all the initial exams and tests he asked how he was in general and what his chances were of living to be 80 'something'.

The Dr asked ''Do you smoke tobacco, or drink beer, wine or hard liquor?'

'Oh no,' he replied. 'I'm not doing drugs, either!'

Then he asked, 'Do you eat rib-eye steaks and barbecued Ribs?'

He said, 'Not much... my former doctor said that all red meat is very unhealthy!'

'Do you spend a lot of time in the sun, like playing golf, boating, sailing, hiking, or bicycling?'

'No, I don't,' he said.

'Do you gamble, drive fast cars, or have a lot of sex?'

'No,' he said...

The Dr looked at him and said,.. 'Then, why the hell do you even care?'

I quit smoking about 25 years ago, I was pretty bad at about 2 ½ packs a day but I went cold turkey and made it.

Chasen Sanborn coffee has chicory in it, my mother liked it but not me.
Cheers everybody

Haven't a clue as to the temp of my fridge, as long as the beer is chilled :) Peace and cheers :)

G'morning everyone.

My beer fridge is set at 2C (ideal for me). ;-)

Today will be a very long day in the brewroom for me, but I do need more rum and today's effort will have that cured.

Now to just finish my 2nd and last coffee break for the morning before firing up my mini still, likely I'll have my 1st beer somewhere between finishing the 1st batch and starting the 2nd (4 batches all up to be done) which will be before my normal Beer O'clock start. :-D

Cheers.

Speaking of chillin', one of the things I miss about my old bar is the frosty glasses they always provided.
