I don't use the XXXXHot Chillies directly, I slice them(always using gloves) and fry them in Bacon drippings then strain out all the pepper, especially the seeds, and then brown the diced pork shoulder for the Chilli in those drippings.

The meat picks up some of the heat but also the underlying smokey flavor of the pepper. The bigger the batch of chillies you fry, the more 'heat' imparted to the meat. [edit] On the really hot peppers, start with just 1!

Once I got hot chili in one of my eye.
That hurt a lot. And I wear contact lenses.
Trying to get that lens out and washing the Eye...
Use goggles when handling those very hot chilis.

Peppers are a doddle, I know people who are real
self destructive. One person always liked to get all
boozed up on pay-days, then he came down to where
I worked and started fights with all my peace officers
work mates who were working the late shift! Some of my
collages were just as ugly, and mean as I was, but they
were a whole lot tougher than me back then.

A great seascape, Julie! By your leave, I'd like to show it to a friend of mine
who paints/gives lessons. Up to you. Will wait for a PM, or whatever.

Julie I tried to paint 2 times like Bob Ross and failed both times, I guess I don't have a hand at it. I have seen some fine art and he was good but not like some of the big ones. I have one here that was painted by a 8 year old kid, this kid is going places soon. Back to bed.

Yes he has a perfect pic and puts a tree in it which looks ok but I think better without. (happy little tree)(died in 1992) darn.
