Well for example if I did have to lift something like a heavy case, My right shoulder would not like that, Doc says I had dislocated the shoulder joint once so that arm is not as strong as the left is now, if some people do not understand that fact, what can I do about that? Not much.

The last time I lifted a heavy PC case with 5 water blocks inside, My right shoulder would not stop hurting for a week. And right now even if I wanted to go to something like a newer cpu platform, is something for another day, I have a gas furnace to get repaired, so right now this is just talk.

If I had the money right now and I almost do, I could buy the motherboard, but then the furnace repairs would be off until December maybe and temps at night are already cool enough so that I can turn off the window air conditioner overnight, the temp last night when I went to bed was 66F. If temps hold to what is going on right now, I should be able to wait until November to get the gas furnace worked on and I will have more money then.

Heck right now even if I wanted to, until more electrical repairs to My home are done, one PC is plenty since I have only four complete circuits that are safe to use and of those four only two are near enough to be useful, the other two are bathrooms that are about 30 feet away in either direction, the rest have been partly fixed with some new outlets and all new circuit breakers and as such are safe to use for anything other than heavy use. Having one 115v outlet burn up is not good and I have another 18-20 just like that one that Fleetwood installed when the company made this place in 1987, nope they will not do anything as they went bankrupt in 2009, I had asked about something once after 2009, they said they could not help.

I did ask someone for some help moving My PC since the PC is heavy, as the PC is almost as heavy as the last one, probably nothing will come of that since I do not know if He has the time or not, which is why I have not moved the PC to the new desk, I have moved almost all the light stuff. If I did not have a bad right shoulder joint, lifting any PC case around here would be easier.

Yeah some people do not like contradictions, sometimes if there is no alternative one has to do what is necessary and painful, and some do like seeing people suffer.

1. $136? Repair the gas furnace(H&B) Could be $248 in November.
2. $811 Replace 2 windows(Glass Doctor) March maybe.
3. $233 Replace windshield(Safelite) May?
4. $ 50? Repair driver door weatherstripping(Safelite?) May?
5. $110 Repair 1050w psu cable(Performance PCs) June?
6. $145 Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 DRAM 3000MHz C15 Desktop Memory Kit - White CMK16GX4M2B3000C15W(Amazon) July? My birthday is in that month.
7. $140 Enermax Liqtech TR4 280mm cpu cooler(Amazon) October?
8. $ 20 Noctua NT-H1 Thermal Compound(Amazon) October?
9. $226 Asrock X399 Taichi TR4 motherboard(Amazon) December?
10. $710 AMD 1950X 3.5GHz cpu(Amazon) June?
-------------------
$2581 All amounts are subject to change and may or may not include sales tax and/or shipping.
In case anyone is curious this is on credit cards or on Paypal Credit like anyone else, I wish I did have the cash, even without any debt this would still take time to do, My plan is to pay down My debt to zero, but under ideal circumstances that will take 2 years to do.

I have a few things on the way from Amazon and from ebay right now.

A HAF-XB case and a rotary light switch from ebay on Paypal Credit which is a revolving credit line that was not easy to get, Paypal Credit isn't too useful outside of ebay yet, though 1 repair shop does use it so somewhere around December I'll probably get a socket repaired on a motherboard, sometimes that's a $60 offer, other times $80.
And a DVD and some badly needed clothes, I needed the DVD to get enough for free shipping.

Message 1958501 - Posted: 5 Oct 2018, 6:48:34 UTC - in response to Message 1958497.

No I didn't, I do have one on a wishlist, but I have a bottleneck as to powering up more than 2 PCs currently, so a 1080 or a 1080Ti makes no sense at the moment, I have all the parts to complete the repairs to the houses electrical system first and add four 20A 115v circuits, plus I need a 2nd a/c unit @ 12000 BTU to run more than 1 PC here, but for that I need 2 windows replaced.

For the moment except for the gas furnace repairs, the other repairs I had done are enough, those were 3 electrical outlets and almost all but 1 breaker and some plumbing issues that were fixed.
If I were to get a 1080 card, it would be an MSI Aero 1080 at 180w, since most of My cases favor that type of card and that is what I have on Amazon.

One of those outlets burned some wires and I'm lucky that is all that happened, since the outlet was also burned beyond use. This prompted Me to put repairs on a higher priority, so long as I don't put any heavy loads on the existing old outlets that have no side screws, My home won't burn down, I'm offered home owners insurance by My auto insurance company all the time, but since I own a manufactured home, they won't cover Me.
I have 18-20 of these to get replaced, to do it Myself I'd need some kneepads if they'll fit Me or maybe $150-$225 for an electrician to the job and the amount is the trip charge, the local guys are stupid and won't work on a manufactured home, the one I hired at one point will work on electrical problems and will drive almost anywhere to do that and He knows His stuff.

Kneepads? That is just an excuse.

Throw the cushions from a sofa on the floor, fold up some blankets, pillows off bed (in case you need a nap) and just do it ...

My knees have hurt when I'm on them since I was 12 years old, I started growing from 4.5' tall at 11yrs to 5'10.75" tall when I was 12, it's no excuse, and the sofa has no loose cushions as it's a sofa/recliner, the cushions are firmly attached and not movable, as to blankets I only have a thermal blanket and two really old quilts. At 15 I could pass for an adult, I got to see an x-rated movie that way once on a dare. At 12yrs old I was the tallest kid in school.

OK.
Might I ask that we nip this in the bud right now and for all.
I do not wish to see this degenerate into what it did when Vic was last here.
He has his own ideas about what he wishes to do with whatever funds he has available.
And is free to dream or plan about what he wishes to do with whatever funds he does not have available.
There are a lot of computer thingys that I should like to do if I had the money available.
Dreaming about such things is cool.
Please give Victor his space and stop badgering him about what he wishes or hopes to be able to do some day.

And I shall say this only once..............
The mods will come down on Vic's side if you choose to ignore my advice.

I was stopped by some screws not being quite long enough during the 9:30am-2:55pm electrical outage here in the park,
SCE was replacing some telephone poles today, and a trip to the store and to the local subway for a friend, I've got to look around here for some other 6-32 screws, when it's daylight and I fixed a lamp today too, still no genie in it, drat.

I was working on installing a 360mm cpu cooler in a PC with an Asus Rampage IV Black X79 motherboard, a Deepcool Captain 360EX on a Xeon E5-1650 v2 6 core cpu, when active the cooler pulses RED...
This will once I've installed it, will have an Adata 256GB SSD in it and yes I do have this SSD here.

The threads I'm told are 6-32, the stock long screws are not quite long enough, so I got out some XSPC screws that I have, they're just a bit longer than Deepcool's screws.

XSPC

Deepcool screws next to the fan controller, it's the only image size I could find.

A Cooler Master HAF XB PC case, this is replacing a CM HAF X/942 case that's on wheels, the XB has handles on each side, it's My 2nd cube case too.

Well I installed the Deepcool Captain 360EX cpu cooler in the NZXT Switch 810 case using 12-XSPC 6-32 radiator screws, I had to lay
the PC on the side and position the shelving so I would not have to stand much, I used the electric screwdriver here and all 3 fans are installed too.
Next after adding the 256GB SSD and maybe a dvd drive, the wiring.

Well I certainly have a project, one that I need help with.

Freezing with no heat, I was just told there will be no repairs, they said the flue was altered and they would not work on it, said it was a liability problem and that until it was fixed they would not do any work, the flue has never been altered, it had been talked about, but nothing had come of that as it was just talk and until now no one told Me it had ever been altered, so I think that was used as an excuse to refuse service. To come out here I was told in no uncertain terms pay them $3500 or no work and no heat until then by H&B Refrigeration.

Some places must think I'm a Gold Mine waiting to be Mined.

The blower, the burner, pilot, thermostat, gas valve all work, the furnace is 31 years old, or least some of it is, the blower was replaced a few years back by the park who wanted to help since they were tearing out a place with a suitable blower which was done under a previous park owner, the thermostat by the CAPSBC, both were new or new to Me then, the gas valve is a white rogers after market unit and came with the furnace in late 2006 when I bought the place.

So now I've called Clemmer in Barstow instead, they'll be out here Friday which is as soon as they can get here, there goes $68 for a Diagnostic fee out of $500 which is all that is available at the moment. sigh.

My cat Grace and I have a pilot light and a PC for heat, it was a lovely 45F yesterday morning and predicted at about 2am to get down to 47F this morning, I slept in until 10am, Grace was laying on the tray table in front of My PC to get warm, the temp outside is 70F here in Yermo CA now.

I do have $500 that was donated via “paypal.me/zoom314”, but so far nothing else. I do need help, I would not ask if I had any other choice, I live on a fixed income. Grace and I’ll probably be turned away to freeze, winter is coming, cold enough for SNOW, like 20F, though whether 2008 comes back is not known.

I'd thought of something crazy today, everytime the gas furnace came on, the window a/c was on, the digital thermostat was set for 79F, so I set the thermostat down at 72F as an experiment and turned the blower power back on at the furnace. Maybe something will happen, I'll have to wait and see.

I have good news, the gas furnace works, so any effort at repair is hereby canceled and
I called the place and left a message that they don't need to come out to My place and that if I do need them I'll be sure to call.
I just had the wrong settings due to Me not being used to the newer digital thermostat.

Today was moving day, I still have more to reconnect My printer and scanner, but it's largely done.
My new desk, so big that I can't fit the whole thing in the picture since I'd need a bigger room to do that with, the desk measures 24"Dx72"Wx78"H.

Ow, well I tried going to bed a few hours back without taking anything, My biceps on both arms are hurting, I took 2 pills just now, so soon I should feel better, moving a PC can be painful it seems as can not minding where one puts ones knees. So it's a painful, cough, cough, morning. Maybe today I can go to the Post Office and pickup My mail. I did find something interesting, someone has some land up for sale near My location, $56,500 for 7.4 acres, seems to have quite a bit in a 150'x2148' package, I'm not sure if the parks nat gas pipe is near enough or not, probably not, this property is almost straight across the fwy from Me. Nice view though.

So far I've come up empty on trying to find a way to buy some land(7.4 acres for $56,500.00) and moving My mobile home to it, I could probably finance the move Myself eventually, but I still could not buy the land I'd need to save My 14'x60' 1987 Fleetwood Westfield singlewide mobile home from being abandoned by Me. I've called several places too, Triad, 21st Century, etc, etc... :(

I could get a mortgage if My home was on land that I owned, but not the way I need to do.

When I canceled the appointment to see the land in person with a realtor, I found out that the land owner was willing to carry the note, but that would and does mean I'd have to come up with about $10,000.00 to move My place and My belongings there and do tear down and setup, in time I could grow that on My own, but right now that just isn't possible since I can not find any source of money to move out, not at present at least.

I might be able to get the park to buy this place once I've secured a mortgage for a place in Adelanto CA for $1.00 in a few years, but that's it.

$4,489.00 owed on My 6 credit cards(one is Amazon and is not useful elsewhere)
$2,103.00 owed to Paypal Credit(ebay and a few other places, otherwise useless)
-------------
$6,592.00 total owed for the moment

I used to owe about $6628.00 at one point, a reduction of $36.00.

And My credit score has gone up by 49 points.

So I'm making some progress.

I've been offered a loan of $5,000 which would in theory pay off a lot of My debt and save Me about $80 a month over 36 months at $185.79, the rest would take about 14 months or maybe 15 months to pay off at the same time, I'd to go for this loan, but the last time I was pre-approved I was turned down.

My debt is now down to $6,551.00, I know not a big improvement, but every little bit helps. $41 less is still less.

Thanks to some Weevils and Moths that came to My house, I had to get some plastic containers and in 1-2 weeks a Window for the kitchen,
the window is a Custom Sized Single Hung Dual Pane Vinyl Window Insert and I was told it would take 1-2 weeks to get here and be installed, so no pics, sorry.

Each is just about able to hold a 13lb bag of cat food, Purina Naturals Original type.

2-Weevil proof Snap Lock and air tight 2L Spaghetti storage containers and a 5 gallon bottle of water for Emergencies when the Water Wells
get shut down for maintenance or when the Park loses power for some reason like having a Power Pole replaced.
