That explains why WooHoo has been burning up all those APs, http://setiweb.ssl.berkeley.edu/beta/top_hosts.php
Of course, it does have it's benefits, http://setiweb.ssl.berkeley.edu/beta/top_teams.php
Release the NoCALs!

WooHoo won't be doing that at the moment as there are no AP tasks to get.

I'm pretty sure that when I left for Einstein there were over 1,000 aps ready to send. But now I'm back here on the nocals

That is interesting to know interesting to see how quickly they get snapped up. Now we just have to clear the MB tasks to get more AP tasks. Can't see this happening over the weekend. For those who have a long weekend enjoy it

As I write this I think we have broken the record there is currently 4,001,087 results being processed. This is the highest I've ever seen results out in the field. There must be a lot of shorties around as the return rate is over 100,000 Average turnaround time is 32.01 hours

The number is still creeping slowly upwards, but I don't think it's a cause for panic yet. There is a team challenge going on at the moment, which may be prompting people to give a higher resource share than usual to SETI for the next 24 hours or so.

The record for results "being processed" is much higher, at 10.77 million. That was a cause for panic, because the tasks didn't really exist - they occupied space in the database, but the majority of them were 'ghosts' that would never be returned.

Yes it is broken, I can't get any work for either box.
I spoke too soon, as I was posting I got 1 for my W7 box and 6 for the XP box. If I don't get more I might panic.

Definitely a slow down on work. Watching my cache fall lower and lower. At this rate, will be on back up projects by this afternoon

I have 8 boxes, and I got a grand total (when I uploaded this morning [Berkeley time]) of one WU!

Somethin wrong with work distribution: the server status page states that there over 311k WU available, yet almost every work request comes back "no work available"...

This feels familiar. "Tasks" -pages loading very slowly, "no work available" and Beta SSP doesn't respond.

If I remember correctly, last time when this did happen, problem was in Carolyn, BOINC replica database.

And now it looks like all the idiots, myself included, who have kept their queues low to have plenty of room for the arrival of (nonexistent) APs will have outsmarted themselves and have no work. Oh well, nothing ventured nothing gained and I am not completely out yet :).

As almost always posting about a problem usually fixes it. My XP box is now full and the W7 box is starting to fill nicely.

Ayup. After I posted I found that my queue was filled to the limit. Perhaps we should all say something about no APs and fix that as well :).

I just checked the SSP and APs continue to not be split. I shall continue to crunch MBs and wait for APs to come back.
