most of those MB's I got for the 3570K were shorties. :-(

Cheers.

I wish I had that issue. I like to shorties. I think the reason why I like them is because it gives you a sense you are getting more work done.

But I go through around 8 of those every hour on that rig. :-(

I run AP's only nowadays. When there are no AP's (which is often these days), it's idle time.

For now I have 34 AP GPU tasks left, and no AP CPU tasks.

I've got about a day and a half left in my cache.

I'm sure more will come soon. Probably not too many, and only for a short feeding cycle.. but hopefully we get some more soon.

Man 8 in an hour is this a few. I possibly go through 4 an hour with current runtimes running to the time on my 970 2 at a time

That's just on the CPU, it's GPU's will do 24 shorties in that time. ;-)

Cheers.

Crap, or something similar. Almost 10-days now, since the last good AP split/splat/splut.

It just has to be millions of AP's ready to split, since AP was started years after MB.

Where are they? In storage on another planet?

The aliens only let them make so many at a time. :/

Message 1682390 - Posted: 22 May 2015, 2:19:05 UTC

I saw a tape being split (one of those speedy-splits where it wasn't even in the list on the last page update, and on the next one, it is already on the 12th channel, and the creation rate is still at 0.00) and decided to mash the 'update' button anyway, and picked up a single _0 task. Unfortunately... 100% blanked B3_P1.

So.. by morning (UTC-4), I'll be idle. Oh well. Saves on electricity, I suppose. That's the way it goes.

Yes it seems they split a few APs today but I saw no joy and now I'm starting to crunch MBs, how sad.

The fastest run-time I have had on my GPU from the work units I got yesterday have run between 12 & 14 minutes each 2 at time.

I guess one way to look at it is the faster we get through the work faster new work can be loaded for people like APs like I do. But I am happy to crunch anything.
It also looks like graph 8_14 is the graph that shows data being transferred green work going out blue work going back to the servers or new to sent to be split to go out

I'm having Cricket graph withdrawal issues.

I go to check them out, but there's nothing there. It feels rather peculiar.

The cricket graph is reading correctly, it has been changed to reflect how much UC Berkeley cares about the S@H project. ;^)

Since the upgrade at the Colo, there are NO valid Cricket graphs for Seti@Home.

Not to toot my own horn.. but there is some minor splitting activity afoot. I've picked up five so far. It's not much.. but it's something.

Looks like I've been picking up a few as well over the past 2-3 hours. I even managed a few for the NV GPU on an old iMAC I'm using. Should be interesting to see how it manages the GPU work for the first time.

When I upgraded my nvidia driver to 352.86 I wasn't getting GPU work until I stopped and restarted BOINC.

I find this user
http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/results.php?hostid=6780580&offset=0&show_names=0&state=3&appid=

And this user too 5025697 (over cheat)

with more of 1000 validations inconclusives. How it's possible ?

All the results are totally different and overflow. It's weird?

I look the configuration of the PC and i don't think it's possible to get all these task active.

What do you think about that? Sorry for the bad english

And now they show Invalid.

And for each task, the std.err.txt does not contain a signals table. That usually means something happened to corrupt the results file. I have one like that, too, which will probably be ruled Invalid.

As long as it doesn't happen on a regular or frequent basis.......
