Assimilators are running again.

But they are struggling to assimilate. At this rate it would take several weeks/months to 'waiting for assimilation' to drop under 100.000 which is average in last year.

The monthly view of the haveland chart shows the assimilators can eat through about 1 million in about a day an a half or about 28K an hour. Hopefully it is just a matter of the assimilators waking up & getting rolling.

The site is very sluggish, I fear doom is coming but I shall crunch on as best I can.

The cricket graph has plummeted to zero and now no tasks available when requested even though the server stat page shows over 300,00 tasks available and the page was updated within the last 15 minutes. I fear the fluffy yellow thing has reappeared.

Fresh your page or clear your cookies Cliff as it's been updating here fine on FF (even if the forums have been dreadfully slow). ;-)

Cheers.

As I write there are almost 4.8 million results waiting administration to the database & 2.24 million results waiting to be purged from the database. Maybe before anything else can be administered the results need to be purged.

I guess as long as people who work for everyone is happy. I am sure people will be even happier when they received credit for return to work after it is administered

We are going into the weekend with no APs being split so a diet of MB is coming up, not a cause for panic, at least we are up.

The cricket graph does appear to show some new datasets being sent to the servers......maybe some hope of AP.

There also seems to be a lot of data being sent back to the lab as I write it's 364 MB

Either we're having a VLAR storm or something else isn't right as it's been over an hour since my GPU's have got any MB's. :-O

Cheers.

MB splitters had a few issues for a while there, output dropped off for several hours & the ready-to-send buffer started to empty rather quickly, but it appears to have recovered for now.

Even better news- the Validation/Assimilation backlog log jam appears to have broken. When they restarted them, the effect was minimal to say the least; a few hours ago the number per hour cleared picked up several gears. Prior to that it would have taken several weeks (probably well over a month) to clear. At the present rate it should be cleared within a couple of days.

AP being split? No sign of that on the server stats. All my machines are set for AP only. Have not gotten any WU's in the last 6 hours. Time for another big drink of MB's

Ah, yeah.
Or something.
09:05 CST was the last time I got any work, GPU or CPU.

"Project has no tasks available" is the only response to Scheduler requests at the moment.
