Although the data on North Korea is likely incorrect, depending if starvation in a labor camp is execution .....

From what I understand the rankings are "official" figures.
North Korea however...

Does North Korea execute people with anti-aircraft guns? New satellite images suggest the rumors may be true.

Indoor air pollution is by far the biggest environmental problem of the world. Every year, 4.3 million people die due to the exposure to household air pollution caused by indoor open fire. To bring this in perspective: This is 45-times the number of the global annual deaths from natural catastrophes (±95,000 in the 2010s). And much more than twice the number of people dying because of AIDS (1.5 million in 2013). It is probably the most unreported of the world’s big problems.

Is this because they don't have electricity? What would it cost to provide all those people with electricity and the appliances that go with it to have a home that doesn't need open flames?

I have not seen why so many people choose to use indoor open fire.
But many in India for instance like to cook their food that way.
They have both have electricity and propan gas but they like the taste of food prepared better when using open fire even more.
It causes one big problem more.
The soot makes the Himalayain glaciers to melt in a faster pace and half of the Worlds population are dependent of the fresh water from there.

Speaking of which they have banned liquid BBQ starter fluids (kerosine) in the SCAQMD area due to emissions and one chain burger place has had to install scrubbers on their gas flame grills because of smoke. It is a big problem.

So, does this mean that the government should step in and if so, do what? For the greater good should people be forced to change their traditions? Looks like more big brother to me.

Mean while South America is clear cutting and burning forests whole sale. And a little liquid BBQ starter is a worry?

And before every one gets bent out of shape I can and do use only one match with no liquid fossil fuel used. You find the right tinder you dont have to cheat using a liquid fuel.

@James Seems that is not the smoke that is the problem but the fact Kerosine is a disolvent. Burnt kerosine are not smoking so much.

SCAQMD develops and adopts an Air Quality Management Plan, which serves as the blueprint to bring this area into compliance with federal and state clean air standards. Rules are adopted to reduce emissions from various sources, including specific types of equipment, industrial processes, paints and solvents, even consumer products.

Ardi, 2, shocked the world with smoking 40 cigarettes a day.
But now the big smoker successfully quit.
After a period of psychotherapy social services can now report that the boy now would rather play than smoke.

Reality?

A 37-year-old British man who planned to take the life of Prince Charles told the court that he felt marginalized throughout his life because he's white, red-haired and male. He wanted to see himself as Anders Behring Breivik, the Norwegian mass murderer.
If the man was able to remove the British crown prince, it would pave the way for Prince Harry, Charles's son. A redhead royalty could then assume the throne, the idea was under indictment, concerning terrorist offenses.
The man denies any liability.

Posting Youtube videos is not reality, it is internet escapism from the real world which you seem to indulge a lot in.

As a white, red-haired man; i'd like to tell him to bloody well grow up!

He'd also have to kill William, George, and the most recent addition, Charlotte.

Well this is a reality in modern day Britain.

Waste food

Could this be the catalyst that precipitates a change in supermarket's policy of throwing away what is clearly edible food?
I do hope so.
