Message 1666099 - Posted: 16 Apr 2015, 20:51:37 UTC - in response to Message 1666094.

I met a drug addict once.
When walking from a subway train in T-Centralen (thats like Kings Cross London) a man walked and fell in to the tracks.
I have never seen so many quickly disappear from the place.
I was suddenly the only one on the platform giving him a hand...

Was he stoned at the time?

I Think so. He walked closer and closer to the platform end and fell with a terrible sound...
Ouch...

was 95% sure :-) That's the problem with junkies, they don't care about their surroundings or the despair of their victims that they burgled/mugged/murdered, just so they get enough dosh to afford their next fix.

With BHL's saying...

..."Ah the poor little darlings, had a miserable life, bad upbringing etc etc". Well there are many out there who had the same type of life/upbringing yet never touched drugs.

Weak-minded so use drugs to get through life? Then one should be looking to the "strong" ones who took advantage of that so that they could get rich quick.

Naw, never going to happen!

Hello Archie Bunker

Druggies sure are "funny", definitely worth a laugh or two :-)

So what has the story got to do with "Archie Bunker"

Archie Bunker

Secondly you really believe that drug addicts are to be laughed at and made fun of.

"Lovely attitude"

Message number 1665991 in response to message 1665386 & yes I do.

I take it you've never discovered the body of a childhood friend with a needle in their arm then?

Perhaps you wouldn't find drug addicts so amusing if you did.

Found one on a train & also seen several here recently. The last one had 4 ambulances & a paramedic vehicle outside - spent over 75 minutes here then rushed her to hospital where she died several hours later.

Why wasn't she rushed in straight away & why 5 ambulances?

In my case it was not a problem.
He fell I helped him.
I didn't ask if he was drunk or stoned:)
But later when I met a person from the tube company SL some meters away.
He looked at me probably thinking I was a drug addict as well:(

Another story.
A Young man from the middle east who acted strange in our neighbourhood.
Everybody thought he was on drugs even the ambulance personal when we phoned for medical assistance.
It turned out he was suffering from diabetes 2...

I really believe that says a lot about you.

I see anything else I say will fall on willfully deaf ears.

No-one should take what Siri... says seriously.
Has he ever said anything nice, or thought provoking, about anything?

I'd make an excellent politician then :-)

...but those are prescribed & approved drugs, & as Simonator already pointed out, even some of them can be addictive.

Now Where in Gods name did you get That information, or is it just judgement from your part?

From druggies themselves & no need to judge, they are paranoid around "normal" people.

I'm sorry but the 'druggies' gave you wrong information.

I think he doesn't understand how many drug addicts hide their addictions from public view and live semi-functional lives.

Generally speaking Alcohol is not considered to be, as per the thread title, a hard drug.

Of course not. It's part of our culture.
But alcohol create more problem to sociaty than hard drugs!
