Even believing Religion is nothing more than Controlling The Masses. You can do this with ANY Religion.

Here is a subject I rarely breach.

So, that makes me that antagonist in any religious argument I get involved in.

I have a very deep faith. Implanted by mostly my mother in my early years.
I believe in God as my guiding light. He has blessed me with so many things, and I speak with Him every day to thank him for them.

I don't put down nonbelievers. You are completely free to believe or not as your soul moves you. I am also not going to try to tell you what you should or should not believe.

I can only attest to what MY beliefs are, and hope that perchance some of you might rethink your position. That is all I shall do.

I am sure that a few of you are just as steadfast in your opinions as I am in mine. That is fine.

I have a faith the has guided me on my wayward path for all of my life. And it has served me rather well, my friends.
I have had so many instances of God intervening in my life to save me from my own self destructive tendencies that I cannot help but acknowledge Him.

And so it is understood. Yet, last Easter Saturday, I considered that nationalism was a much more urgent threats.
"Nationalism leads to racism and right-wing extremism, but worse than that: Nationalism leads to war. War leads to the obvious - mass death - but also to the economic collapse, poverty, hunger, barbarism. To hell. "

All good text. It is the way these three religions are presented by their leaders that causes so much trouble. Because entwined with the religion is a power struggle to win the minds of the masses and to control territory.

I have to, sadly, agree, Bob. Not all the religious leaders strive to
control people, but enough of them. As a Muslim friend of mine said:
