Awesome!!! The green beer is on Vic! The problem is, We don't know who the parents were beyond the fathers last name or even their surnames, or if the mother was of French or Irish descent, so all that is known is that He was of French descent and that He was born in Wexford Ireland in 1770, Wexford is a small seaport. Scots-Irish on my father's side. Grandma Johnson was a Benton, a Henderson, and possibly a Sullivan, we're still tracking that down. Grandpa was a Dane, and my mother's side is German (Brockman, Meier, Mueller). Didn't do corned beef & cabbage this year, but did have a pint of Guinness with dinner...... Good to see you here Scarecrow and Kris. Made a batch of Corned Beef and Cabbage for the office this year again. It was free, due to a tip from a very happy Client. Everyone loved it. Pluto will always be a planet to me. Seti Ambassador Not to late to order an Anni Shirt |

I made pasta primavera for dinner on St Patrick's Day... not at all traditional but it was very green since it included asparagus, snap peas, fresh parsley and a little chiffonade of fresh mint. |

I guess I should get into St Patrick's day more. My fathers mother was a Patterson and the person who moved the family to the United States was John Patterson 1775-1828. They came to the US in 1807 and his son John 1802-1875 and wife Mary Scott 1778-1852 are direct line from Ireland. Also in the family were Jane Patterson 1797-1844, George Patterson 1798 - no date of death, Robert Patterson 1801=1868. Rebecca Patterson 1812-1829 was born here. They moved to Ohio and remain there until my Grand Father and Grand Mother moved out of state. |

Does it look somewhat like this? Or this Angela? The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

It looked closer to your first picture, Vic. The recipe I used also called for peas, but since I don't like cooked peas I left them out. |

I always say I'm English, German, Polish, and Ukrainian, but those are primarily the male lines, so I don't know what else might be mixed in there from the women they married. There could well be some Irish. Probably in the English line, if there's any. I could look in the book and guess from the wives' maiden names (those that are given). Pennsylvania Dutch seem to me like they would be less likely to marry outside their heritage. The Polish and Ukrainian lines haven't been in this country as long; I think the immigrants in both lines were my great grandparents and were already married when they came over.
