Did happen to me while making a post here today, but also have noticed this earlier as well. Possibly not using the correct word or term for for the definition of this, but when using Google Chrome as the web-browser, but at times it apparently needs downloading an intermediate script acting between the client and the server for means of communicating, meaning sending and perhaps receiving information as well. Could you please give an explanation for the use of such a script and whether or not it may be something else than the usual cookies which are being used for the similar things. Thanks! |

I think you mean the secure page certificate needed to load these pages in HTTPS. HTTPS uses an encrypted line between the server and your browser. To be able to use that, the server needs to be certified. Since security certificates cost a lot of money, it's also possible to self-sign these certificates, but then some browser balk at this and ask if it's OK to allow the certificate, if you trust the owner.
