Lots of wisdom could be had from Mr. Nimoy's tweets. His last one was no exception:

"A life is like a garden. Perfect moments can be had, but not preserved, except in memory. LLAP"

LLAP, Mr. Nimoy, the man who has been — and always shall be — our friend.

I'd had a feeling lately that he was going to go soon. Sometimes I hate it when I'm right.

(I am pleased that no one has, so far, dug up the clip of Kirk's eulogy of Spock at the end of Wrath of Kahn.)

I agree. Mr. Nimoy's character "Spock" on Star Trek was one of my role models and a childhood hero of mine back in the late 1960s.

Later on, I had the privilege of meeting him and working with him a couple of times in the 1980s while I was on the staff of a Star Trek convention. He was certainly the nicest of the cast members of Star Trek and without a doubt the best actor.

Mr. Nimoy, I will miss you.

Spock was quite likely my biggest role-model when I was a kid. I'm so happy to see this seems to be the case for so many posting here.

Canadians 'Spocking' their currency in tribute to Leonard Nimoy
To honor the memory of iconic "Star Trek" actor Leonard Nimoy, some Canadians are drawing Spock on their $5 bills.
