No rain drop dodging so far this afternoon Grant (though it has looked very black to the east all day), but I did enjoy a good April Fool's Day down the bottom pub over several beers. :-D

Cheers.

I guess it's been a long time buying a new car battery, I bought one yesterday with a 7 year on it and cost me $160 installed. I knew it was going ever since last Sept when I got out of the hospital but doged it until now. I think the last one was about $100 less. LOL

That's $160 of no beer :(
Cheers everybody

OK, BJ bought some land in the show, where was it? I know.

I remember parts of the episode. I remember him authorizing Peg to purchase the land; but, I don't remember where the land was. :-(

Okay it was Stinson Beach CA right on the ocean front. I have been there once with my daughter for lunch. Well not with BJ though. :)) Nice place but you need bucks to live there.

I know the hurt it puts on the wallet. Mine is car specific. Manufacturer calls for only one battery. Not a range to choose from. It is a big bugger in the trunk next to the spare tire. I have a 2008 car on its third battery. The last one was under warranty. The next one is full price.

I was told that some cars had them in the trunk, mine is a 96 buick but to have a battery so far from the motor is a sin in my eyes. lots amps for the distance it has to go.

Beer is one thing I can count on, wet is good but strong is better. :))

Now that's expensive for a battery Grant. :-O

My car seems to like its changed every 7yrs and the last 1 cost me $80aud 2yrs ago, but I did install it myself.
